The man lived in no darkness,
The man lived to watch the sun.
But as the world turns,
He continued to run.
You see, the man was in rotation,
With the tides and the sun.
when the man thought he could see earth, he realized, he the man, was the moon.
Blinded by the solar light,
He could see a shadow starting to gloom.
The man turned his back and broke from his room.
The moon left the sky, to marry the sun.
But the moon didn't know, that the marriage hadn't begun.
The sun kept its distance, and carried away his son.
The earth challenged the star,
Pleading and begging to see his father.
The sun turned his back and said to go see the moon.
The moons light was back and the father couldn't believe what was done.
The earth shook his head, and began to face the sun.
The Luna darkened and began to feel the glum.
The earth couldn't decide what he liked, the darkness or the sun.
So in rotation he went, and the moon left its hum.
He left his blood to return to the back of the sun.
Darkness shines brighter, yet the darkness blinded the birds
So he listened closely to figure out his words.
The moon never made it, to get back at the sun.
The Earth needs her now, so life could have begun,
But the moon was jealous, and pulled the tides from the seas,
Killing the life that the earth tried so hard to please.
The moon left the sky, and told the sun to freeze.
So winter took over, making earth cry.
The coldness broke him, dreaming of birds to fly.
The birds could fly from the seas and live farther in.
So life moved farther away, from what the father could bend.
Earth flourished, living next to the sun.
But the father just staid still, until his life came to an end.
So the sun carry's on, with her child from within.
And the fathers corpse, laid in the sky, reflecting the whiteness of tin.
