I knew it was different from the moment you blurred the line between us two,
You drew me into your fantasies, using every color, except one, as if forgetting about blue.
You're paper white skin, to show the story of the future together, we had had glued.Fire in your eyes, you blamed just me for the undue,
But your fury that buried me, bled through the earth, and broke me away from you.As if a man's touch, and brindle hair could change the way I felt towards you.
As if the feelings of my guilt, was enough to save me from leaving you.I miss the way you looked at me, with eyes that couldn't come unglued,
But with my reflection within them, has deceivingly become skewed. My longing for the way you begged for my touch,
With your hands holding my clutch,
Trusting I could never harm you.But your grasp began to fade.
The cold began to stay,
And your eyes couldn't say I loved you.The anger you'd throw,
While I was at home,
Making me feel like I harmed you. With each hair on your head,
Each drop that you bled,
I tended and cared to.But it wasn't enough,
To win your trust,
And I'll never get to say i will miss you.I won't miss the way you made me pull out my hair.
The way I couldn't recognize the man in the mirror,
The man who only wanted to love you. You're vile and mean, hurtful and cruel,
But I never meant to hurt you.
You're mouth I fed, and nights kissing your head,
But all you could do was be spiteful.I'm sorry I failed you.
I'm sorry I loved you.Maybe someone will love you better than I do.
