It was like any other day, Dream was looking for another item that could make L'manburg surrender instead of the stupid discs. the man could tell he was driving the leader crazy, making him insane, mad, unhinged.
but anyways, he was hearing about this weapon everywhere from nearby villages.
granted, it sounded like they were honking, but it was pretty clear.
"theres an old legend in which a weapon resides in the tower to the very east forest, almost near the farlands where nothing generates anymore! everyone goes seeking it out, but at the wrong times! they either get mixed up in the war with l'manburg and can never get to the forest right beside it, or for some reason the weapon isn't there. you have to go when the sun is setting, and you are suspected to hear child-like cries. but be warned! you also hear screams everyday, as if people are being tortured."
and hey, Dream needed a new weapon perhaps. his bow was getting a tad rusty.
a tad being: it took a good 30 seconds to draw it back to shoot with. and the horrid sound it made too.
he was getting a little lazy with finding the materials and this new weapon might be his big break.
so here he was, wandering through the forest at around 6 pm, the sky changing color. the screams of a grown man was heard, but suddenly stopped. Dream also stopped dead in his tracks, confused on why it stopped.
he started running towards it but got lost on the way. he was going to turn back around, moping and whining about not finding the weapon, but the child like cries he heard about started. now he new the exact location.
