Chapter 9

Nevaeh POV

It was finally Saturday and I'm getting ready to go to siennas. I just put on something casual since we're just gonna be watching movies all day. My trusty navy hoodie and black sweatpants.

I hear the sound of a car beep from outside.

I looked out my window to see a car parked In front of my house. Must be sienna.

I got my bag that I packed and headed downstairs. I locked the front door behind me and made my way towards the car. I got in to see chase sitting in the drivers seat.
"Oh, hey chase" I said. He just nodded his head back. "I'm not being ungrateful or anything but I thought sienna was supposed to pick me up?" I asked. He looked over and said "I was in the area, so I said I'd pick you up." I hummed in acknowledgement.

We stopped at a house, and I was about to ask him if we were here, until I saw Asher come out of the front door. He hopped in the backseat, dropping his bag beside him. "Hey guys, what's up?" He said. "Nothing much, what about you?" I replied. "Ehh nothing really." He said sitting back in his seat.

It was too quiet for my liking so I asked chase "Hey, can I put the radio on" looking at him in question. He looked over to me and nodded his head. I smiled in appreciation. "Yo, what the fuck man, you never let me or Carter put any music on!" Asher said waving his arms around in disbelief. "Yeah. That's cuz your guys music taste is worse than my grandma's." Said chase. "Is not!" He said like a five year old. "Is too" replied chase. He was smirking at himself. He was annoying Asher on purpose. I turned the radio up before they could continue, and one of my all time favourites came on. It wasn't me by shaggy. "OMG, I love this song!" Asher squealed in the backseat. "Same" I said. We high fived and began singing.

"HEY" me and ash shouted in unison. Asher tried to turn it back up but chase smacked his hand away. "OUCH!" Screamed ash, rubbing his hand. I tried to turn it up but chase blocked my hand, so I tried to use my other hand but then ended up with both hands restrained, by one of chases hands, and his free one on the wheel. His warm hands spread sparks up my arm. I sat there in defeat. I looked over at him and pouted. He looked at me "ughhh, fine" he said rolling his eyes. He let go of my hands so I could turn the radio on.

"Yesss" said ash. I turned the radio on. By now a different song was playing, but we didn't mind.

Soon after, we arrived at a fricken mansion! Oh god, so they're rich, rich. As we got out of the car I thanked chase for the ride. He nodded and lead us inside. Sienna and Carter came to the front door when they heard it open. Sienna ran over and gave me a hug. "Hey, babes" sienna said. "Your house is beautiful" I said in awe.

"Haha, thanks. Usually it's omg your house is huge, are you like billionaires or something" she says putting on a funny voice.

"I was gonna say that next" I said laughing.

"Hey Carter, feeling any better?" I asked. I did feel a little guilty that I beat up my friend, but it was either him or me. "Yeah, tons" he said smiling. Before I could reply, sienna grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs to her room. "you can leave your things here" she said pointing to the corner of her room. "thank you" I said.

"Let's go downstairs" she said, dragging me by my hand.

You know, getting pushed in a pool by Chase Kavanagh, isn't how I expected my day to go. You wonder how that happened? well let me tell you.

We all decided to play hide and go seek with a twist. Once you were found you had a chance to run away and if the seeker doesn't catch you, you can go hide again, to make it more fun. Hide and go seek chasing technically. Chase was seeker. We had 2 minutes to go and hide.

I was currently hiding in a spare room upstairs. It had shelves built in up high, with blankets resting on them. I climbed up onto the shelve and hid under the blankets. It was the perfect spot.

"AHHHH" I heard Asher scream downstairs. Wonder what's going on down there. To bad if they were in trouble, I wasn't giving up my hiding spot and be at risk of getting caught. We decided that the Winner gets to choose the movie, and no way was I going to end up watching a horror movie.

I stiffened when I heard the door open. I held my breath, so that he couldn't hear me breathing. Next of all I hear someone whisper beside me "found ya, princess" I jumped up and covered him with the huge duvet. I hopped off of the shelf and made a run for it. I could hear him catching up so I took a right turn and it led me outside to the pool. I relaxed as I had lost him. Well at least, that's what I thought until I was engulfed with a whole load of water surrounding me. "Well damn" I thought.

"I can't swim."
