"AND AROURA REMAINS THE CHAMPION!!"

I huffed as the ref put my hand up in victory. I climbed out of the ring and walked over to my bag, gulping my water down.

After weeks of not being able to fight, I'm here! It's been tough trying to get back in the ring with my uncle constantly taking his anger out on me, and trying to hide my secret from chase.

I was able to come tonight as chase had something to do with work, so here I am, earning much needed money. I have one fight left, then I'm done for the night. Usually I only have one fight, but since I've missed out on a lot, I've singed myself up for three.

And yes. For the record I am crazy and also tired, but I need as much money as I can get. Don't get me wrong, I probably have enough to last for years but I'd like to be able to prepare for the worst.

I also want to decorate my new house with lots of fluffy blankets. Maybe, just maybe, an ice cream machine. Ohh yeahhh.

I was brought out of my thoughts as the commentator introduced the next fighters. My eyes nearly bulged out of the sockets when I saw who was up on stage. Chase. I should've known. Just my luck.

I felt my hood to check that it was still covering my face, and pulled it down a bit further, just for good measure.

A shirtless (sexy) chase stood, opposite to his opponent, who was a fairly bulky man. His abs were nothing compared to chase's.

The ref signalled for the fight to begin, and to say I was amazed would be an understatement. I stood there, memorised by his flawless skills. He moved so gracefully, and blocked each hit with ease. Every punch thrown, made his muscles bulge.

Chase's opponent stood no chance against him. Chase was simply faster and stronger. Not even two minutes into the fight, chase had won, knocking out his poor opponent. More like victim if you ask me.

He looks at the crowd, scanning everyone's face. I turn my head so I don't get noticed but luck doesn't seem to be on my side.

"Hey" I hear a gruff voice. I look back to see chase standing behind me. I nod in acknowledgement. I don't exactly want to expose myself from him recognising my voice.

"Good fight, I seen your first two matches." He says. Ughhh, why me? Why not go over to someone else? All the other girls look like they'd appreciate his attenti- on second thought, he can stay put. The thought of other girls hands on him doesn't exactly put me in a good mood.

"Thanks, you too" I reply, making my voice a bit deeper, in hopes to make it sound a bit different to my normal one.

He stands there staring at me, not saying anything. "You need something?" I ask, getting impatient. Don't get me wrong I love being around chase but, him being beside me right now, with my identity in jeopardy, has me on edge.

"Yeah, I have questions." I sighed. "Alright" just because I'm agreeing doesn't mean I'm going to tell him anything. Well, depends on the questions I suppose.

"Why do you fight with your hood up?" He asks. "So know one will recognise me." I say sharply, hoping he'll get the hint that I don't really want to talk to him. He rolls his eyes in response "obviously."

I snort. Wow reallll classy Nevaeh.

Just as he was about to continue the conversation, my name was called by the ref for my final fight. "Cya" I said and ran to the ring.

As I got in the ring I saw my opponent. My GOD was he big. I was the size of just one of his arms. Obviously that's an over exaggeration, but his muscles were huge. He was at least 6'5, and weighed around 260 lbs. Most of it obviously being pure muscle.

Just because he was was bigger than me doesn't mean I couldn't beat him. He may have strength on his side, but I have speed.

I analysed his movements as the bell rang, indicating the fight has started. He has a slight limp on his left leg. Jackpot. He threw a punch at me, but me being oh so talented, blocked his punch, jumped up and socked him right in the nose. I can't even reach the guys nose without leaping! Who put me against him!?

He grunted out in pain, stumbling back. He shook his head and charged at me. I ducked underneath his swinging arm, quickly turned and kicked his back, making him fall forward. He got up and shouted in frustration.

He came towards me, and before he could get a hit in, I front sweeped his left leg and he fell to the ground. I got on top of him and hit him repeatedly until the ref pulled me off my unconscious, bloody opponent.

"AROURA WINS YET AGAIN!!" I left the ring, packed up my stuff and went to collect my reward. Just as I was leaving I looked back to see chase staring at me. I held his gaze for a second before turning to leave.

I woke up to the sound of a door closing. I felt the bed dip behind me, then I was pulled into someone's arms. I turned around to face him.

"How was work?" I asked. "Fine." He replied, nuzzling his face into my neck. "What did you do?"

"Fought for money." He said. Wasn't really expecting that answer. I already knew where he was but I thought he'd say something like 'stupid poop', you know?

"Fun! You know what I did all day?" I say. "Hmm?"

"I went to work and accidentally spilled a coffee over an old woman. I would've felt bad if only she hadn't told me I looked ridiculous with socks and sandals. Like I get your old and have your opinions but please do refrain from telling me my socks and sandals situation isn't working for me." I huffed out a big breath after my rant. I need to remember to breathe while talking.

"Bitch" Chase mumbles. "I know!" I agree.

It's quite for five minutes and I know chase is falling asleep but I really need to get something off my chest that's been bothering me the past while.

"Chase?"

"Yes" he sighs.

"I need to ask you to do something with me and you need to be fully on board with it okay?" I say in all seriousness.

"Ok...?"

"Good so..."

"Ma'am we are a vet. We don't have time for your silly games!"

"Excuse me, this is not a silly game! This fish is in serious need of medical attention!" I say.

"What do you expect us to do!? It's a can of mashed tuna! We can't simply 'fix it', it's already dead. Squished. Gone." The receptionist says.

"How do you know? You haven't even tried!" I express.

"Oh lord have mercy" she looks up to heaven.

"The lord will certainly not have mercy on you for not helping this poor fish!" I say.

"Thats it! OUT! GET OUT! I have been listening to you for twenty minutes and I already want to quit my job. I don't get paid enough for this." She sighs

Before the two men with huge muscles can touch me, chase lifts me over his shoulder chuckling as I shout "JUSTICE FOR NEMO AND ALL HIS FISHY FRIENDS!!!"

"Crazy ass" Chase says.
