Elizabeth still hadn't talked to Meliodas since he had saved her. After all, she felt guilty for how she had treated him. And although she didn't fear him personally, she still couldn't help but be scared of those red eyes and little growls he would give.

She wanted to thank him for what he did, get to know him better so the fear would go away, but every time she said to herself that today would be the day, she always made an excuse like "oh well, he's still recovering so I'll give him some space," or "oh well, he's talking to his brothers, I'll just wait until tomorrow," etc etc.

She would scold herself after, but the same process would repeat the following day until it had been nearly a whole week! He had gotten back to his old self now, regardless of the tests by Merlin. No results had been spoken to anyone else other then Meliodas and his two brothers whom she had noticed seemed a lot more stressed then normal while Meliodas was unusually quiet and inactive most days.

He still ate and talked with Ban, followed around his brothers like a small child excited just to be near the parent, and did his normal activities. However it was different now.

Whenever his brothers would look at him he would go back to being all smiles and happy little purrs, but when they would turn away a dull look would form in his eyes and he would frown, like he was very deep in thought or distressed about something.

Elizabeth had noticed it happen a few times now, but didn't say anything due to a mix of feeling it wasn't her place to ask about and that fear of what he was that still lingered.

Taking a deep breath as she looked out the window with frustration due to her own fear, she barely even noticed when the very boy she had been thinking about came downstairs for food.

"Heya kid! Ya slept in a bit today. What can I get for you? Some bacon and bloody eggs?"

Sbe faintly heard a small growl from the boy as he agreed, being more quiet and less energetic then normal. Glancing over at him, she once again saw that far away look on his face. Realizing that he might be upset and deciding to do something about it, she took a deep breath and began to walk over to the stool he was sitting in before her mind could protest.

He snapped out of his daze and gave her a puzzled look by her sudden appearance since she didn't often go around him.

"U-Um... I-I was wondering i-if we-e c-could talk lat-ter... M-Maybe this afternoon?"

He blinked, clearly shocked by the propersition, but nodding all the same. She smiled and walked off, however part of her mind was screaming at her.

No! Why didn't I just talk to him there! Now my mind has time to convince me not to do it! Ugh, this is a bad idea... Maybe I should cancel so I'll actually have time to plan something. No Elizabeth! You always make excuses! Today is the day! I'm going to talk to him! Now.. what to plan..

"Sure! I can do that. But what's it for? Planning on a demon banquet or something?"

She gave a small smile at Ban's words, shaking her head to prove them false.

"N-No. I'm wanting to have a picnic with Meliodas to thank him for saving me awhike back."

A cheshire like grin spread on the man's face as a twinkle in his crimson eyes followed.

"Oh I see~ Ya taking him on a date are ya~?"

Her face flooded pink as embarrassment filled her, however Ban just gave his usual laugh and patted her head.
