Kurt

I was in the training lounge doing my regular workout plus some added training moves just to keep up to par in case I ever faced a demon. As I punched at the bag and kicked it, I began to think about the boy and how he seemed so familiar. I don't know, maybe I saw him in a book before or some distant memory. Maybe I'll remember soon. I just kept punching until the bag stopped moving and Santana poked her head from the side of it.

"Hey, I've been calling you for the last five minutes."

"Sorry Tana. I was lost in my thoughts. What is it?"

"Rachel wanted me to tell you that the guy you brought in is awake. Bringing boys home now Kurt?"

"He's not a mundane or a shadowhunter."

"I know. It's an angel and a good one but I'm just saying that he's kind of cute."

"Whatever. Give me a minute and I'll be there."

"Okay."

She walked out and I walked over to the sink, washing my hands and healed them before fixing my hair back into place and looked at my dusty black clothes. I wore a simple black t-shirt with a V neck cut that showed my few runes on my neck and arms. I dusted off my black tight skinny jeans and walked out, heading to the lounge where I put the boy. Everyone was just standing around the room while Mercedes and Santana were calming the boy down. I got a good look at him once he looked at me and I felt my breath catch in my throat. His eyes were perfection and once his color came back to his body, I could see how he could be an angel. I looked at him dirt covered white shirt and pants that were splattered in demon blood meaning that he fought quite a few before falling.

"Hi..." The boy said shyly, looking down at his shoeless feet. I cleared my throat and walked over, sitting next to my brother who looked almost like me but with long brown hair gelled to the side in two ways.

"Hi, It's alright. We aren't going to hurt you."

"How did I get here?"

"I found you while on patrol. My name's Kurt."

"You're a shadowhunter?" The boy said, lifting his eyes to me.

"Yes. We all are. What's your name?"

"Blaine. I'm an angel or I was until I fell."

"How did you fall Blaine?" Mercedes asked softly. He looked at her and she smiled with comfort.

"There were these downworlders. They came out of nowhere and started attacking. I was fighting and then I felt heavy and almost empty. Then I began to fall and that's how I knew that my wings had been cut off." He didn't want to say that he saw a face before he fell. "So I crashed into an alley and woke up here."

"Well you're welcome to stay here until we find a way to get you back up there." Rachel said cheerfully. "Right Kurt?"

She elbowed my side and I blinked a few times befoer nodding. Blaine looked at me and I returned the look and I could see so much fear turn into a look of relief. But then I realized that we had no clothes for him and how are we supposed to work on getting an angel back up to heaven when we're in a big mess at the moment? I guess I need to trust my gut and that's what I did.

"Right. So, I'll show you to your room and you can change there." I nodded to Blaine who got up and followed me upstairs to a room with a nice view of the park. I looked into the closet and pulled out a shirt and black jeans.

"What shoe size are you?"

"7"

"Oh, you're the same size as me. I'm afraid all we have is black clothes since we are shadowhunters. I hope you won't mind."

"No it's fine. Thank you Kurt."

"You're welcome Blaine. Don't worry, you're not a prisoner here so if you need to travel then you can but just be careful."

"Um, I actually don't know this place very well."

"Then allow me to show you around but I need to actually shower first. How about 10 am? Is that okay?"

"Perfect."

"Good. See you then."

I walked out and smiled as I headed to my room. I think I just made a friend.
