Blaine

Kurt and I walked around some of his favorite parts of New York that I began to like as well. We had gotten coffee at a place called Lima Bean and decided on taking a walk in the par which seemed like such a cliche thing but I actually liked it.

"So what do you like to do Blaine?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like for fun? Don't angels do anything up there?"

"Yeah we do. I liked to sing to my little sister and play any instrument up there. How about you?"

"Well I like to sing and shop and train. Truth be told, I used to be a wimp. I never stood up for myself and I was too weak to even wield a sword but yet here I am fighting demons."

"That's amazing. I used to be a soldier before I fell. Can I tell you something?

"What?"

"I kind of saw this face before I hit the ground."

Should I even tell him this? I mean I just met him and I don't want to freak him out.

"Go on." He said, sitting down on a park bench. I sat next to him and took a seat.

"It was like a bright light and then this face began to show. It took a few seconds before I began to see it clearly and I saw you."

"Me?"

"Don't be freaked out."

"Actually I'm not because as crazy as it sounds, i've seen your face too. Ever since I saved you, I actually couldnt stop thinking about how familiar you look to me. As if we met before but in another life."

"I've been thinking about that. So what do we do?"

"How about we start at friends? You look like you need a friend."

"Friends? I like that. But how about best friends?"

"Best friends it is."

Kurt and I continued to enjoy the day talking about favorite music and foods and styles of clothes. We even went shopping and I found some nice clothes. I began to think about my sister though and how sad she must be. I miss her.

(Lucilia)

Lucilia sat at the edge where her brother, her only brother, dropped. The downworlders were gone and the angels began to repair all that was lost in the battle but Lucilia never moved from her upright curled position near the spot where Blaine's wings laid beside her. They had always been together since the night that they died in a car crash coming from seeing their favorite musical Les Miserables. Jeff came over and sat next to her.

"It'll take him a while to get back up here, you know?"

"I don't care. I'll wait forever if I have to."

"I'm really sorry Luci. I tried to warn him but I was too late. It's my fault."

"No Jeff. It's my fault. I should've told him to come with me but I knew that he wouoldn't. He always did something like this even when we were alive and little kids. Brave Blaine I used to call him."

"He'll come back. I bet he misses you."

"I miss him more."

(Kurt)

Blaine and I get back to the institute and plop down on the couch, relaxing after a day of fun. I'd have to say that I haven't had this much fun in forever. I was always so consistent on being tough and alone training every day and night until I felt like it sufficed for me.

"Hey, how about a movie?" I asked him.

"Sure. You pick."

"Hmm, how about The Lion King?" I said, holding it up.

"Perfect! I'll get the popcorn if that is okay with you? I know you're all body builder and everything but you really need to let go just for a night."

"Okay fine. You've been trying to convince me all day. I give in. But if I get as much as a pimple on my face anywhere, I hold you responsible mister." I said jokingly, pointing at him. Blaine just laughed and walked to the kitchen, getting the snacks necessary for our movie night that I finally let him drag me into. I guess I could miss my nightly routine of training for one night.

I sighed and relaxed on the couch when I heard someone clear their throat. When I turned around, it was someone I thought I'd never see again since the battle in Chicago.

"Jace?"
