A few weeks passed since the battle and death of Kurofsky and also Blaine's heroic sacrifice. He was in the hospital ward being treated by Rachel and Clary. It seems that the demon took a lot out of him and the knife left quite some damage Jace said but I didn't care about any of that. I just cared that he was alive. That another person that I cared about didn't die. So while Blaine was resting and I was free to do what I wanted, I went to visit him.
"Knock knock." I said with a smile, standing in the doorway.
"Kurt?" Blaine said tiredly with a cracked voice. He was sweaty and his curls were wet and his eyes were droopy but he was still alive. I walked over to him and smiled.
"Hey soldier. How's it going?" I sit down in a chair next to his bedside and hold his weak, heavy hand in mine.
"Its good. Me tired but okay. How you?" He mumbled.
"I'm alright. I'm happy that you are alive."
"I wouldn't leave you...I can't leave you..."
"I know and I'm glad. I missed you."
"I did too. C'mere." Blaine raised his other hand and waved me over. I got up and moved over.
"C'mere Kurt." Blaine whined playfully and with whatever strength he had, pulled me down onto the bed and into his arms. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him, laying my head on his chest. We stayed like that for a few minutes until Hunter came and knocked on the door in his patrol gear.
"Kurt? We got to patrol."
"Aww can't Jace do my shift?"
"He has his own shift. Come on."
I look at Blaine who fell asleep while we were cuddling and was softly snoring away. So I just kissed his forehead and got up carefully, walking away silently with Hunter behind me.
