A month later, Bellatrix and Narcissa found themselves standing on the 9¾ platform saying goodbye to their parents. People stared as if they were venom, a disease that kills thousands. Such hatred shone in strangers' eyes, thinking that they knew the black family like the back of their hand, but they didn't even know a quarter of the story.
Ignoring the hatred that sent her way, Bellatrix smiled at her parents and hopped onto the train before they could say another word.
People turned their heads only to stare at her as she passed them, her head high and her eyes concentrating straight forward. Her small heels clinking on the wooden floor, as her black clothes wrapped around her body. For some weird reason, most of the black family only wore black in public, Bellatrix didn't know why but she never questioned it. Maybe they wanted to look as if they were mourning for their hearts that they never had, Bellatrix thought amused. A small smile on her lips, but unnoticeable from someone else's point of view.
"Bellatrix," Aurelia's voice dragged her from her thoughts, and as Bellatrix finally blinked she noticed Aurelia peaking her head out of the compartment to her right.
"Hello Aurelia," Bellatrix greeted, putting her luggage above where she was about to sit.
"Oi, we're here too," Michael said, already in his hufflepuff robes as he sat next to Kaiko who was Bellatrix's closet and only ravenclaw friend.
Bellatrix let out a small laugh, the other three followed soon after. They were a weird bunch, acted how people wanted them to act in public, but in private they were completely different.
Bellatrix Black, part of the noble house of black, everyone knew her name and thought they knew her story. They all wrote her off as a blood purist because that's what her family was, that's what they thought the Slytherin house was. A bunch of evil snakes ready to save their own skin, but of course they were wrong, right?.Not even Bellatrix knew who she was, so how would she know if she was evil or not?
Aurelia Caylen, noble house of Caylen pureblood, her father's side were from Spain, but her parents and her lived in England all of her life. Everyone wrote her off as leftover, pushed into the house of sunshine and rainbows, where everyone thought that was where the weak witches and wizards go. They were wrong, and Aurelia was ready to prove it to the world no matter the cost.
Michael Robinson, a half-blood, Bellatrix's parents would have her skin if they knew she was still friends with him. Another hufflepuff, but everyone wrote him off as a prankster and a heartbreaker. Yes, he was those things but he was so much more then just that. Yet nobody gave him the chance to prove that, well aside his wonderful friends.
Kaiko Angelos, another noble pureblood, yet his family doesn't really care for it's titles or politics. Bellatrix's parents always assume it's because he's from Greece. People wrote him off as a nerd, a know-it-all, and only talked to him for him to help them with their work. Kaiko was more than someone to help with homework, or someone to bully because they're smarter than most. Yet he never proved anyone wrong, for it was better to hide in the shadows then everyone know who he was.
They were completely different people from what people knew them as, but secrets are a key thing in the wizarding world. If you couldn't keep a secret, then your screwed.
"Have you guys heard about Voldemort, they say he's recruiting more people then last year already!" Kaiko said, leaning on the window slightly.
The three made shushing noises, as Bellatrix glanced around outside of the compartment to see if anyone was listening in. Luckily, there was no one.
Slamming the door shut, she turned and glared at Kaiko who didn't even flinch like many others would.
"That doesn't work on me anymore," Kaiko teased.
"Unfortunately for all of us," Aurelia responded, tapping her fingers against her leg in a steady calming beat
"Hey!"
And they all bursted out into laughter, as the train finally took off
