Illuminating lights blinded Aurelia's exhausted eyes, her disastrous messy hair covered parts of her face as the quiet snoring of her friend filled the room. The ice in the water clinking every two seconds as the yellow roses stood out in the dull room. The healers of her home gossip was like listening to the news that her parents wanted to avoid, a danger to her safety. A sense peacefulness was a warmth that Aurelia rarely felt, even with her daily tea, her mind was still cold and her heart remained frozen.
Yet with Bellatrix, she felt as she could do anything. Well except ignore the faint sound of Druella Black screeching repeating in her ears like a unstoppable siren.
"Where the hell is my daughter!" Druella spoke as her words were to venomous to anyone who actually listens.
"I don't know, Lady Black!" Joanne said.
"If I find out she's there, you're dead!"
"I don't think it will do any good to your reputation if I report your death threats to the ministry of magic, don't you agree Druella?" Frederick replied coldly and just with that, the noble lady vanished into ashes..
Yet again, the house was swallowed by silence and a threat that everyone knew was real danced around her mother.
"Tch." Frederick's eyes narrowed at the fire place, the smell of the disgusting cigarette lingered around him. "Aurelia, your friend needs to leave."
"Frederick, how dare you suggest that Bellatrix goes back to that horrid family of hers!" Her mothers terrified expression vanished in mere seconds, a fury glint glowed in her eyes as words spilled out with anger laced into them.
"I will not risk my family for another, not again!"
Like a frozen statue, the atmosphere was like delicate ice that was about to break any moment now. The night of horror and the start of ongoing suffering was a broken record playing on repeat. The past was racing to catch up and create an explosion of pain, but a pale woman stood in the doorframe with her balance unsteady.
"I would never ask for that, Lord Caylen." Bellatrix whispered quietly, yet the tension broke like cracked ice, "That's why I'm going back as soon as possible, and I apologise for my mother's actions."
"But-" Aurelia began to speak before her father interrupted.
"Aurelia, that's enough," Frederick said, "thank you Bellatrix."
A bitterness fury was the only thing Frederick left behind when his footsteps echoed in the distant, yet even through bitterness the butterflies Bellatrix brought with her never stopped fluttering their wings.
