Weak

My hands were shaking. That's all I could feel. I was weak. Weak under his touch. He drugged my heart. I was in love. Did it happen to everyone? Of course not. If it happened to everyone we wouldn't have horribly snotty people that were rude to everyone. They'd be happy. Just. Like. Me.

  "I love you,"he whispered.

"I love you too,"my hands were holding his. Our breaths were in unison as we locked eyes with each other. I felt so different. Like we were one. I loved Ryan.

  "Mackenzie?"

  "Yeah?"

"I'm glad you live with me."

I smiled and kissed his cheek. "I am too. Now you can make me breakfast without having to be on vacation."

He smiled and picked me up off of his bed. He carried me all the way to his kitchen and sat me down at the table.

"What is my gourmet chef making me this morning?,"I asked in a groggy voice with a smirk forming in the corner of my mouth.

  "Um...cereal?"

I gave him a pointed look.

"Just kidding babe. How about a cheese omelet?"

I smiled. "Yeah that'd be nice."

He kissed my forehead and pulled the eggs out of the fridgerator.

Max flung open the front door and stood beside Ryan wrapping his arms around him. Ryan only grunted and tried pushing Max away.

Max took me in. His breath hitched in his throat. I looked at myself and saw I was in Ryan's shirt and my spandex...but the shirt was long enough that you couldn't see my spandex.

"Babe,"Max whistled. I just rolled my eyes and watched Ryan fight the urge to backhand him.

"Hi Max,"I said boredly. Ryan sat the omelet in front of me and kissed my cheek.

"Where's mine?,"Max asked raising up a fork and a spoon that he got from the drawer. Ryan ignored him and sat beside me.

"So I'm gonna make myself my own breakfast then,"he said pouting and walking to the fridgerator. He grabbed the cheerios and poured them in a large pot. Like seriously?

"Breakfast!,"Max said digging into his cheerios which had like three pounds of sugar on top of it.

I laughed and put my omelet dish in the sink.

"Twenty minutes Mackenzie,"Max said sitting amused. "School starts in a half hour and it takes ten minutes to get there ya know."

  I modded and ran upstairs.

I threw on my Nirvana shirt and dark skinny jeans, and put my hair in a pony tail. My shows were just my black boots. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs. Ryan was in his room getting ready, so Max was the only one keeping me company.

"You know, I read people right?,"Max asked spinning his spoon in his empty pot.

  "Okay?"

  "Ryan. Is happy."

  "I know."

"You're changing him Mackenzie,"his smile was gone. Replaced with a neutral look which he only had when he was annoyed or upset.

  "I don't understand..."

"He loves you. You're weakening him. People are gonna walk all over him now. Because. Of. You."

  "Max..."

He laughed and hugged me. "Mackenzie. I'm just messing with you. He does love you though."

"I know. And don't scare me like that! I thought you were gonna threaten me or something!"

"I know. Your face was priceless."

Ryan walked back into the kitchen and made my heart wanna split in half. His black sweater was fit tightly around his torso, and his jeans were fit low on his hips. No leather jacket.

"What's the occasion??,"Max asked surprised as well.

"No occasion,"Ryan blushed. "I just felt like dressing up for my girl."

"I love you Ry,"I said kissing him one last time. Class started in like forty-five seconds and I honestly didn't want to leave him.

I was falling for him, and I was falling hard.

"I love you Mackenzie,"he smirked. "Like I always will."

I rolled my eyes and kissed him one last time.

  "Bye love."

We parted ways and went to class. I hated this class. Geometry.

I walked in and sat down by Devon. "Hey Dev."

"Mackenzie I haven't seen you all day. What's up?"

"Its first period,"I laughed. "And nothing really."

  "So...how're you and Ryan?"

I felt my cheeks redden and a smiled formed from ear to ear across my face. "We. Are amazing. Truly amazing. I can't even tell you how amazing we are."

He smiled and pinched my cheek. "You are falling hard aren't you. You're going weak babe. Crumbling under his touch."

  "Yes."

"I'm happy for you Mackenzie. I love you babe."

  "I love you too,"I smiled.

He smiled and turned to the board.

All of a sudden, Ryan ran into the classroom and smiled to our teacher.

"Hello Ryan, what're you doing here?,"she asked folding her hands across her chest. He just looked to me and flashed a grin.

"My girlfriend forgot her geometry textbook in my locker."

I looked down to my stuff and saw that I did have my textbook. I was confused.

He walked over to me and whispered in my ear.

"Happy one month anniversary. I love you." He dropped the book down on my desk and kissed me like no one else was in the room. I clutched his sweater and pulled him even closer to me. He held my small hands into his and kissed me long and passion-full. I smiled and looked to the book he lied down on my desk.

It wasn't my geometry book. I opened the front page and saw pictures of us, some of him and me, some of all five of us. It was a scrapbook. And on the last page, was a golden necklace...scratch that...a golden half necklace. He smiled and raised his keys. There, the brightest of them all, was a golden keychain. Half of a heart that said; Mackenzie. The love of my life. Forever and always.

I looked at mine and saw it said; Ryan. My lovely. Always and forever.

I kissed him again and for a second, I didn't even know there was a teacher in the room. I kissed him one last time before he left and apologized for the disturbance.

I leaned back in my chair, my smile never leaving my face.
