Who knows...maybe forever is true. Maybe everyone has it wrong. Like, what if after life is different than what every one says. What if it's true that you can still live on Earth after you die. Maybe you can die with your highschool love and be with them for the rest of your life.
I'm dope. I know.
"Mackenzie,"Ryan whispered coming into my room at like three o'clock in the morning. I smiled and looked at his bare chest and plaid pajama pants. You could see the waist line of his underwear...
"Yeah?,"I asked trying not to check him out. Again.
"I need to stay in your room,"he said crawling into my bed. I laughed but quickly stopped when he put his hand over my mouth.
"We have to be quiet."
"Why?"
"Because if my parents see me in your bed...things could get...awkward."
I nodded and snuggled closer to him. His arms were around me and our legs were tangled together underneath the comforter. He smelled like his body wash. He just got out of the shower. I smiled up at his closed eyes. He smirked knowing I was staring at him. He held me tighter. I didn't want to ever get up. I loved Ryan. I was truly in love.
"Ryan,"I whispered.
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I know. I love you too."
"Goodnight Ryan."
"Goodnight beautiful."
I closed my eyes and let sleep take over. Our month together was perfect. And the best part? We're already on our second month. Three hours into it precisely.
"Mackenzie?"
"Yeah?"
"Your parents came over after you fell asleep. I went downstairs and saw them. They were angry. They tried to attack me, but I stopped them. I didn't hurt them or anything...but they knew I wasn't messing around. They said they were going to take you back. That you were going to live with them again. Because you can't leave them. They said they'd take you themselves if I wasn't there at that moment."
My heart was racing.
"I can't go back there. I hate them,"I whispered.
"I know. That's what I told them. Mackenzie, I think we should leave the state."
"What about..."
"Who cares about my parents. They practically let me do whatever I want. I don't want you in danger. We are leaving. Now."
"What about the guys?"
"They're like almost here. They're coming with us."
"Are we really going to do this?"
"Yes."
"Then let me get my stuff..."
