The massive stone castle definitely belonged in the medieval times.

It had gray stone with glass stained windows of beautiful flowers. There was a tall metal pole with a white flag that had an infinity symbol printed on it.

Across a field of flowers were several different colored waters. Pink, gray, blue, green, purple, yellow, red, and black.

The doors to the castle swung open and out came two well built guards in metal suits with the same infinity symbol as the flag.

They grabbed Alfred's arms and hauled him up the stairs and into a long corridor.

They marched him to a set of wooden double doors that they flung open and pushed him inside.

He was in a room full of people all dressed in medieval clothing of dresses and suits.

Across the room, sat in a tall throne chair was a middle aged man who looked to be about in his mid thirties.
He wore a red suit of silk and had dark brown hair and gray eyes. He didn't have a crown on but Alfred immediately knew that he was the king.

Sat next to him on his right was a young girl who looked about fifteen. She had long dark brown hair and gray eyes that was wavy and she wore a green dress of silk.

The king's daughter, Alfred thought.

On his left side sat a gorgeous young girl who looked a little older than the girl on the right. Alfred would guess about eighteen or nineteen. Unlike the other two who had dark features, she had light features of blond hair and blue eyes. Her hair fell in curls around her face. She smiled at Alfred.

"Who's this?" The king asked.

"The boy you wanted." One of the guards answered, gesturing to Alfred.

"I wanted this one?" He made a sour face. "I must have been mistaken."

"You were not, I can assure you of that, Sire."

"Well, what's your name?" The king directed his eyes over to Alfred.

"I-"

"Speak up, boy."

"I don't know where I am."

"That's an interesting name, 'I don't know where I am'."

The court laughed then got silent.
Alfred found that pretty weird.

"Alfred. Alfred Finley is my name."

"Well, Alfred, I'm King Benjamin."

"It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Not so much on your part." King Benjamin said. "See, Alfred. You're here for a reason."

"Which is?"

"We need your help. I'm gonna go ahead and just tell you and save all the suspense. The Idyllic Kingdom has attacked yet again. For some reason, the Waters of Wisdom told me that you are the solution to all of our problems."

Idyllic Kingdom? Waters of Wisdom? None of this made sense to Alfred and there was no possible way that he could be the solution to whatever problem that they were facing.

"I'm sorry, but, I have no idea what you're talking about." Alfred said meekly.

King Benjamin rubbed his forehead in and took an exasperated sigh.

"I'll have everything explained to you slowly. You need time to take all this in. In the meantime, I will have someone get you ready for dinner and show you to your room."

He snapped his fingers and a lady came over and gestured towards the big double doors.

"Right this way." She said.

Alfred looked back at King Benjamin who looked at him.

"You'll have answers in the morning. I promise."

And with that, Alfred followed the woman out the double doors and down another long corridor.
