"Is anyone allowed over the Black Line?" Alfred already knew the answer. But he needed them to work with him on his plan.
Titus, Roger, and Alfred were currently at the training area.
Titus was teaching Alfred different ways he could defend himself with a sword while Roger watched from the sidelines and occasionally threw a sarcastic remark or two.
Titus stopped and looked at him.
"I thought Genevieve would have explained that to you." He commented.
"Or they were too busy getting all lovey dovey on each other." Roger laughed.
"No, that did not happen." Alfred rolled his eyes. "She did explain it to me. But, I wanted to hear from you guys."
"Well, you can. It won't hurt you." Titus said.
"But if King Benjamin finds out, then he'll hurt you." Roger stated.
"I have a plan but I need your help."
"What is it?" Titus asked."I need to get over the Black Line but I need you to distract King Benjamin for me."
"You got it." Roger shouted.
"No." Titus said.
"Why not?" Alfred asked.
"Because, we'll all three be in so much trouble if you do."
"Not unless King Benjamin finds out."
"Oh, he'll find out alright."
"No he won't." Roger stated.
"Yes he will, he finds out about everything."
"Look, we'll never know if we don't try." Alfred said.
"What's in it for us then?" Roger asked.
"I'll clean your armour."
"Deal."
"No, wait-" Titus started.
"King Benjamin awaits." Roger gestured to the castle.
The two took off and heard Titus groan behind them as he followed along.

They stood outside King Benjamin's room silently. The guards weren't around, which made it the plan even better.
"Do you think he's asleep?" Titus whispered.
Roger began to pound on the door.
"Is anybody in there?!" He shouted.
Titus hit Roger upside the head.
"Why would you do that?"
The door swung open and they faced an angry looking king.
"I hope you three have a good explanation for this." He grumbled.
"We just got lonely." Roger said.
Titus hit him again.
"Sorry, Sire. We didn't know if you were working or sleeping."
"Working. Now what do you need?" He demanded.
"Someone to talk to." Roger said.
"Why not just talk to each other?" He asked.
Roger opened his mouth to answer but Titus beat him to it.
"We have battle strategy to talk about. We wanted to discuss it with you."
"You couldn't have waited?"
"We need to discuss now, Sire."
King Benjamin let out a sigh.
"Fine. Come in."
Titus and Roger walked in.
"Aren't you coming in, Alfred?"
"No, I should go work on some of my training. I was just accompanying them here."
King Benjamin looked at him for a couple seconds before nodding then closing the door.
The last thing Alfred heard while walking down the hall was Roger yelling about how great the decor looked from the inside.
He made it back outside and ran to the Black Line.
He paused to brace himself.
Could he really go through with this?
No time to waste, he thought.
He took another deep breath and jumped over the Black Line.
