Titus was right about one thing, he did get through training with only a couple of bruises.

He was wrong about it being easy though or maybe that was just Alfred's weaknesses talking.

Genevieve came and thankfully rescued Alfred from sword fighting.
She lead him to the different colored waters.

"I wanted to start with this first." She said.

"Each of the different colored waters do something. Yellow is the water of cowardice, betrayal, and madness. Just because it's pretty, doesn't mean it's good. Purple is the water of nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Blue is the water of serenity and stability. Red is the water of love and passion but also anger and rage. Pink is the water of romanticism and playfulness. Black is the water of nothing. There's really nothing there. No one ever dares to go near it. Green is the water of jealousy and greed and gray is the water of wisdom. If you were to jump into any of these waters you would immediately take the qualities of it."

"So, if I jumped into the green water, I would become greedy?"

"Yes."

"What about the black water? Would I become nothing?"

"We don't know what would happen to you."

"I figured I would become nothing."

"Here, you are something." She reassured him. "Let's continue the tour."

She lead him from the training fields, to the stables, the gardens, until finally leading him over to a long black line that seemed to stretch on forever. On the other side of it was another kingdom.

"This is called The Black Line. It's an invisible barrier that spreads tranquillity throughout the air on both sides. It's magical because it can release other qualities like if an angry person were to shed their blood on the Black Line, it would release anger on both sides. Someone messed with it. We don't know who. My father is keeping a close eye on us though."

"He no longer trusts his people?" Alfred asked.

"No, he does. He's just careful with who to trust now. He firmly believes that it had to have been someone from the other side."

"Oh." Was all Alfred could say.

"But, whatever you do, never go over the Black Line. Don't even step on it. It could be like shedding your blood on it." Genevieve said.

"You mean my DNA could alter it?"

"We're just trying to be careful."

"Has anyone ever been over the Black Line?" He asked.

"Not that I know of."

"That's the Idyllic Kingdom that Benjamin told me about."

"King Benjamin."

"What?"

"You called him just Benjamin."

"Well, he doesn't exactly have any rule over me."

Genevieve was silent for a moment.

"Let's finish the tour."

She walked back towards the castle.
Alfred took one last look at the Idyllic Kingdom.

Something played in his mind.

A plan. An idea. A bad idea.
