Chapter 4

The next morning I walk into the great hall to meet with Harry and the others at our table. I look over at Draco and he smiles at me and waves. I wave back and sit down. "So have you guys found out who would've put your name in the cup?" I ask grabbing a piece of bread. They all shake their heads no. Ron stuffing his face and Hermione studying as usual. Harry looked at the table the entire time confused and clearly not happy. I tap on the table in front of him. "Hey it'll be ok Harry you'll get through the tournament" I say giving him a soft smile. He forcibly smiles back but it wasn't convincing. The professors came in and did their usual morning talk about classes and announcements. When we were sent to class I walked with Hermione behind Draco while Ron and Harry forgot their things in their dorms. I stare at him walk distracted until Hermione snaps me out of it. "Your fawning over Draco" she says surprised. "What? I am not" I argue. "Yes you are you haven't taken your eyes off of him since this morning" she laughs a little. "I don't know what you see in him but If your happy then" she shrugs and we walk into class. I sit across the room from Draco and we mouth words back and forth to each other. "Don't go to our usual spot tonight" he mouths. "Why?" I say back. "I want to show you something" Professor Snape almost caught us but we stopped talking before he turned around. The rest of our classes were slow and felt like the day was dragging on. It was finally free time and everyone went and did their own thing. I walked around the halls looking for Draco when I see him talking to professor Snape. They are inside his room and I stand in the opening looking at them. Snape sees me and closes the door. "Ok then" I say out loud and go sit in the gardens. I must of say there all night because no one came and looked for me to tell me it was lights out. I started to head back inside when I see Draco walking towards me. "So what did you wanna show me" I say as he gets closer. "Come on follow me" he grabs my hand and we start walking. We walked for a good mile or more when we come to this cliff like area. "What's this" I ask. He sits down and pats the ground next to him. "This is my new favorite spot but it's even better now" I sit down. "Oh why's that" he looks at me. "Your here" he gives me a small smile. I can tell I'm blushing because he laughs. "I like you a lot Lilly" he looks at me. The moonlight illuminating his blonde hair and his bright eyes. "I like you to" I smile back at him. I could tell that made him happy he seemed nervous to tell me that. "What about Harry" he asks more serious. "I'm not sure what he would think I mean you were my friend first but they are also my best friends" I look at him "We should probably keep us lowkey for a while then" he grabs my hand and holds it. It was glad he understood. We sat out there underneath the stars all night. It was right before sunrise when we headed back to our dorms. He walks me to mine and stops me before I go in. "Lily will you be mine" he asks. " I thought I already was" I joke with him and we both laugh. He slowly walks away backwards as I go and we wave bye to each other. I go to my dorms and I sneak inside. I slowly walk to my bed. "Where have you been" Hermione asks me. "I was just taking a walk" I say "All night" she continues to question me. "Ok well yea I was" I say. "I know you were with Draco" I stop and turn to look at her. "Please don't tell anyone" I ask her. "I wasn't going to I'll keep your secret just if he hurts you I'll hurt him got it" she says smartly. I smile at her and crawl into bed. I must've fallen asleep because I wake up to her yelling at me that I'm ate for breakfast. I get up quickly and we run to the great hall. We get there right as everyone else is sitting down and I run to my seat. "We we're almost late" I laugh and turn around. Dracos laughing and joking with his friends. He stops when he sees me and smiles which I smile back at him. I turn and Hermione gives me a look but I just continue with what I was doing. The next few weeks with Draco were the best weeks we had. We spent every night together. He helped me with my homework in the study rooms. He wasn't anything like everyone said he was. I began to slowly fall for this boy. I didn't realize though that loving him was something that I had to decide between him and them.
