Chapter 12

We were all sitting on the front steps when we see a big group of people walking towards us. We stand up and hold out our wands. As they get closer I see that Voldemort is leading the group. I turn to look at Hermione when I see Draco walk out of the school and stand in the back. I look back as they get closer and I see Hagrid carrying someone. They come up to us. "Harry Potter is dead" Voldemort announces to everyone. He smiles evily at us. "No! He cant be!" I yell. I start to run towards them when Ron grabs me and holds me back. "Silly girl you wouldnt stand a chance against my army" he points at me. I begin to cry as Hermion puts her arm around me. "The boy who lived is no more now you all are under my control" he hold his arms out and gestures to all of us. "You wish" I snarl at him. "Oh really well it seems like one of you belong to me" he looks back at his group. "Did someone say Draco Malfoy" Bellatrix yells evily laughing. I stop and look behind me. I see him look around and look down. He slowly walks through the crowd and down to the floor. "Draco no" I say my voice cracking. He stops and puts his head down. He turns around and walks over to me. "I have to if I dont they might hurt you Ill come back for you dont forget about me ok" he says as a tear rolls down his cheek. His voice shaking and cracking. "Please" I whimper. "Ill always love you no matter where Im at or what Im doing" he says. He puts his hands on my cheeks and puts his lips to mine. He lets go and wipes the tear from my eye and gives me a soft smile before walking away. He walks up to his parents. "No please" I fall to my knees and scream at him. He doesnt look back as they walk away. In that moment I thought I l lost the only boy Ive ever loved and my best friend. I felt defeated. All of a sudden Harry falls from Hagrids arms and picks up his wand. He shoots it at Voldemort which quickly retaliates. I stand up quickly and watch as they battle each other. It looks like Harry is winning. Harry shoots at him one more time which makes him fall. He pushes him to the ledge of the bridge and grabs the elder wand. "Your done here Voldemort" He falls off the edge and Harry stares over it. "Harry are you ok" I run up to him as he walks back to us. We all cheer him on and I hug him. "Im so glad your ok" I say not letting go of him. Ron and Hermione run up to us and we all hug each other. Everyone starts working on getting everything cleaned up while we stand outside trying to make sense of everything. "You guys are never allowed to leave me got it" I say to them. We all laugh but I was so serious. They were my best friends. 

Its been 2 years since the battle of Hogwarts. We all were still together. We left Hogwarts that year and decided to live in London at our own places. Ron and Hermione lived together and so did Ginny and Harry. I lived alone but we all decided to plan a day for us to get together. I showed up later then everyone else. "Come in" I hear someone yell from inside before I even knock on the door. I walk in and meet everyone in the living room of Harrys house. "Hey everyone" I say. Theres someone else standing there and Hermione smiles at me. "We found someone for you" she says. I look at her confused and put my things down. Then he turns around. "Draco...." I say breathlessly. He smiles at me and walks up to me. I stood there in awe. He still looked exactly how he did when I saw  him last. "Can we talk" I say. I say hi to everyone else and we go outside. "So why no letters or anything I thought Id never see you again Draco" I say "Ive missed you" he smiles at me. He walks closer to me. "So what now are you staying here" I ask him. "Yea I wanted to ask you formally if youd want to be mine" he grabs my hand. "I always have been"
