The remaining of the week was standard.

Though what was unusual is that, Peter seemed to disappear often. I had gone over to talk to May these past few days because I had been feeling dreadful lately and Peter was nowhere to be seen.

Yes, I had questioned May about it but she would just say something about the stark internship. I know she was probably right but it just doesn't sit right with me. I'm just gonna have to find out myself.

——

It was a Friday afternoon and school had just let out. I had finished up at my locker and was heading my way outside the school, when I had caught Peter.

"Peter! Wait up!" I slightly yelled from the school doors running over to him.

"Y/N.. hey." Peter said with a smile.

"Where have you been?" I question. This had been my first time seeing him today.

"I was busy with the stark internship.." Peter said.

"Oh.. well.. I was thinking.. maybe we could hang out at my place tonight, my Gran has to work late so it would just be us.. again." I said. I could feel my cheeks warm as I think back to when we studied that first night.

"Yeah.. I think I can make it." Peter said.

"Good.. 8pm don't be late." I said with a small laugh as I trotted off to the subway.

——

I spent my hours of daylight at the coffee shop. I had been there reading books and occasionally studying.

Once the clock was 7:45pm I knew the coffee shop was close to closing and Peter was coming over soon. I gathered my books and put them into my bag, carrying the extra books I had brought. I then made my way to the apartment.

When I had reached the door I unlocked it and walked in. I made my way towards my room where I would set my bag and other books down on my desk. As I sat down my things, I got a text.

Peter

Hey, I can't make it tonight something came up.

Oh.. okay, that's fine.

Tomorrow?

Sure. (:

Not that I'm mad at Peter for bailing but it did kinda hurt.

Usually I would watch a movie or read but what really sounded peaceful and relaxing right now is looking up at the stars. Gran had told me there was a patio and a somewhat garden on top of our complex so it's perfect. I grabbed some throw blankets, my phone, and my key. I then made my way to the roof.

Once I got to the roof, I laid out the throw blankets so that I would have some sort of comfort when I lay down. I then sit down in the middle of the blankets and lay back.

As much as I want to say it's as peaceful as the night sky, there were a few faint car horns. But if this is as close to peaceful as I'm gonna get then I'll take it.

I shoot up from lying down when I hear a loud noise from behind me. As I look to where the loud noise had come from, I see what I least expected.

"Spider-Man?" I questioned, confused.

"Y-yeah.. that's me." Spider-Man said.
