Completely unsure of what to do next, Carter turns around and leads himself back towards the awaiting, black G-wagon parked directly in front of the grand hospital's entrance. He pulls open the driver's door and takes a seat on the black leather cushions. Just as he rests his hand on the interior of the door to pull it closed, his phone begins to buzz from inside his front pocket. He hurriedly shuts the door and struggles to pull the phone out from his pocket. He lifts his hips off the seat and pulls the black iPhone out, instantly checking the caller ID.Ugly Bitch
Despite the amusing name, it was not an ugly bitch on the other side of the call. At least not literally. It was Cole, knowledge which Carter had already known as he slides the screen toward his right in order to answer the lingering call.
"You left me in this fucking creepy graveyard you fucking dick" Cole's voice vibrates through the phone's top microphone as he begins to speak instantly. With the phone pressed against Carter's ear, he chuckles lightly. On the other side of the line, Cole rolls his eyes as the bald man's dead body lays still on the green grass. The death that was caused by Cole.
"I need you to pick us up" Cole finally blurts through the phone as he kicks the frozen body with the tip of his black heavy duty boots. "I'm on my wa- wait, did you say ' us'?" Carter questions. A piercing smile spreads across Cole's face, "you'd be proud of the plans I have in store for this one", Cole smirks. Without question, Carter hangs up on the call and starts the engine.
Approximately 15 minutes later, Carter finally pulls into the parking space of the graveyard; which seemed to always have an eerie atmosphere surrounding it. He hops out of the tall car and slams the door shut, slightly cringing at Dominic's imaginary voice nagging him for shutting the door to his beloved car so harshly.
Cold wind blows through the thick strands of Carter's dirty blonde hair, now slightly messed up and out of place from the amounts of times he had subconsciously run his hands through them, as he storms to the far end of the grassland - towards where he clearly pictured Sylvie pointing towards.
He finally notices a tall figure sitting by the large trunk of a tree, his legs sprawled out in front of him lazily as he stares up towards the sky, whispering something quietly under his breath. His right hand is clasped against a black handgun that rests on the ground, while his left hand busies itself, his fingers softly playing with the wedding rings that hang off the silver chain around his neck. In front of Cole lays the large, bald man. His back pressed against the grassy ground beneath him, while his arms lay by his side, and his legs slightly open. His unrecognisable head faces the direction of the sky above him, with his eyes still open a sliver.
Completely unfazed by the dead body, Carter makes his way towards Cole - who had now acknowledged his presence as he stares up at his friend approaching him.
Carter pulls out his right arm in front of him, offering it to Cole. Cole grips onto it and with both the men using their strength, lifts him up. "Fuck you", Cole announces, directing it towards Carter, once he had balanced himself upright on both his feet. "I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you", Carter rolls his eyes. "Ice cream?" Cole smiles, Carter eventually agrees before Cole starts speaking again.
"How is she?", he asks a seemingly distant Carter, who stares off towards a random leaf floating through the sky. Carter simply shrugs his shoulders casually. From the outside he may appear calm and relaxed, though on the inside his mind is asking a thousand questions a minute, as his heart pounds against his rib cage with excessive force. Carter definitely notices his worry, causing it to increase as he understands that Sylvie must be different.
After a concerned and confused expression flashes over Cole's face, he quickly recovers from it and approaches the lifeless body etched across the green ground. He kicks the side of the man's rib once more with his right heavy boot as he bends his neck down to glare at the body. His body shakes slightly from the contact with Cole's boot as Cole begins to speak up to Carter, "notice baldy here?" He questions Carter as if the dead body laying on the ground was a small earring Cole had changed, something that you wouldn't be able to realise unless pointed out.
