The Interview.

Russell Simmons... No big deal... You can do this Sariyah. Just calm down. Believe in your self. Come on you look scared shitless right now.

I can't do this ... Yes I can!

I gave my self a pep talk in my head.
Today was my interview for All Def Digital with Russel Simmons. He wants to do business with me and possibly give me my own YouTube series on the All Def Digital YouTube page.

Just then the guy I watched grow up came out of his office. Diggy Simmons. Oh no one understands how big of a crush I have on him. Ever since the show first started. I only watched it for him.

He looked my way and we made eye contact. He looked at me as if he were shocked by my appearance. Probably because drool was dangling from my mouth.

All my un-holy thoughts from my pre-teen years flooded through my mind and I felt a throbbing sensation down in my area.
"Hello?" He said waving in front of my face.
"Oh my gosh hi!"

"Um... I said I noticed you from YouTube. My cousin and I watch you all the time. You're really funny"

"Aw thank you! You have no clue how much that means to me! Oh my gosh I can't believe Diggy Simmons is telling me this. Oh no I'm being a fan. I am fan girling. I am so sorry. Oh my gosh you probably think I'm a psycho fan. I swear I'm not. I jut really like your music... Well I am b-"

He laughed a little putting his hand on my shoulder. "Sariyah. Chill I'm just like you"

"I'm sorry usually when I meet someone famous I'm not like this. I'm just nervous for this interview" I wiped my face down and rested my head in my hands. "Just take a deep breath. He already likes you since he is interviewing you personally. He usually leaves interviewing to his assistant. Just go in there and be your self. Don't worry about professionalism. I mean you didn't travel all this way for my Uncle to deny you the job right?"

"Sariyah Johnson? Mr. Simmons will see you now" His assistant said.

I sighed and stood up "Break a leg" Diggy said. I smiled at him and stood up and walked into Russell's office.  As soon as I got to his desk I shook his hand.
"Hello I'm Sa-"

"I know who you are"

Aw man I was afraid this would happen. On Run's house Russell would always yell at his employees and cuss them out.
"Resume"
I handed him my resume.

"Thank you for fitting in the time to see me Mr.Simmons"

"Don't speak"
He read through my resume then spoke without looking at me.

"You're hired" He said got out of his chair and looked out the window fixing his tie. "Be here tomorrow at 9am sharp. I will go over what I want you to do and procedures here at All Def Digital. Then I will send you back to the Los Angeles office where you can start working for real"

"Thank you so much Mr.Simmons I appreciate this so much"

"Get the hell out my office"
I was taken a bit away but got up and did as he said. When I walked out the door I could hear Russell smirk and mumble "I got a good feeling about you Sariyah"
I had a huge smile on my face and went straight to the elevator. I leaned against the elevator wall a thought. This job could open so many doors for me. Give me better opportunities in life. Plus the pay is good. Not even 2x more what YouTube pays me. I closed my eyes and day dreamed what I would do what all that money.
