It was 3 hours before my birthday concert in New York and I was doing sound check.

When you are doing sound check you really can't see anyone because it's dark and the light is shining in your eyes.

I ended my verse and the music cut off.

"How did that sound Perry?"

"That sounded great" That voice was not Perry. It was a girl's. It kind of sounded like Sariyah.

I heard steps approaching me and it was!

I hugged her and swung her around.

"Oh my gosh. What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to surprise you"
I wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Come on. Let's go to my dressing room"

We walked into Diggy's dressing room and right away I saw a bottle of alcohol on the counter.

"Is this your's?" I said looking at it's label.

"Yeah. Spin got it for my birthday"

I put it down and walked over to him.,

"I'm not going to drink it though... Come here"
Daniel gave me a sexy smirk and and grabbed my hips pulling me towards him. I smelt alcohol on his breath.

"You smell like it"

"I might have drank a little" I laughed and kissed him.

"Doesn't mean I love you any less" I said. He blushed and I caressed his cheeks with my hands.

Her soft soothing voice wasn't something I was really used to from a girl besides my mother. Sariyah reminded me so much of my mom.
She was always easy to approach. Easy to talk to. She always gives the best advice and has the best interest in me. I've never been with a girl who was even close to being like my mother.

"Daniel..." Her sweet lips whispered against mine.

"Yes"

"I want to be with you..."

"Really?" Did she really want to be with me? Or was she just in the moment?

"Yes. I love you..."
Yes, these past few months we learned to love each other but I didn't think she wanted a relationship due to what happened with Ron and her daughter. Also because long distance.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes"

"Yeah?" I cheesed

"Yeah!"

I kissed her cheek bone and slightly tickled her. She chuckled and held on to my shirt.

"I love you Riy" Although this was our "first" day of being a couple, we have already developed the feeling of love over these past few months.

"I love you too Daniel" She squeezed my cheeks.

"Uh stoppp"

She giggled and grabbed both of my hands.

"Well... Ok going to go"

"What? Why? You just got here"
She pecked my lips.

"I got something for you... I'll text you the hotel address and you just come when you are done"

"You are so cute" She smiled and walked away.

"I'll see you later..." Riy winked at me and exited the dressing room.
