In the last week we have been together every night.
"Andrew, Derick called earlier today. He sounded upset. And definitely showed aversion towards you. I'd rather not go into detail of what he said. I didn't answer, he just left a voice mail. I'm telling you this because he is threatening you. Majorly. He said he is going to hunt you down and beat the crap out you. I think he means it too, please watch out for him." Rylie started to say this as soon as I opened my front door. The first two sentences she said she was crying, girls are to emotional; but that's not the point. She looked scared and her big blue eyes widened more than I have ever seen them before. If it wasn't for the way she talks and moved about as she said this I wouldn't have taken it into consideration.
"I'll keep an extra eye out it it makes this better. I you want me to stay away I will, if you want me to take him in then I will. It whatever you want."
"No, I dot want you to get hurt." She still sounded pretty scared.
"Don't worry about it Rylie... Let's talk about something else please?"
"Ok, that's a great idea. Lets talk about us." She said an her mood brightened rapidly. She was speaking with joy in her voice again.
"Us? What do you want to talk about, about is?" I replied, relieved to here the happy time back in her voice.
"Yes, us. Like what we are going to do in the future. Where are we going to move? Are we going to have kids? If so, how many? What are we going to do with our lives?"
"Well, Rylie, let's try to keep our lives together." I laughed as I said that with that half smile she talks about; just to make her even happier. "I want a kid or two. Not to many though. I don't want the chaos." Once again I laughed and half smiled. "And we could move to like Tennessee, that's where my family is from or we could move to some tropical state. Where would you like to move, Rylie?"
"Tennessee would be cool! The Smokey Mountains are out there, and all those hillbillies too." We both laughed at that for a few minutes; we definitely found that overly funny.
"Why do you like the hillbillies?" I said, still laughing.
"I don't know, just because I can. I think Tennessee would be a wonderful place! But we would have to live in the Smokey Mountains in a cabin where everything is serene, you know?"
"Yes, I know Rylie. That would be perfect, as long as I am with you." I said. Then the conversation ended with a playful, surprise kiss to the cheek from Rylie. No more conversations were held for the last hour of her company.
