Two days I have been home. Sitting, watching tv with Rylie by my side, not at school, and everyone doing what ever I ask. Not that I took advantage, well too much advantage anyways. This is pretty good. I should get the crap beat out of me more often.
My mom went to the store and my dad was still at work, so Rylie Kept me company.
"How re you feeling?"
"I'm fine. I feel normal again. I wish someone would let me get up..." I gave her a gesture suggesting her let me walk to do something other than pee.
"Ok, fine."
I got some jeans on and threw a sweatshirt over my head quickly. Rylie and I went on a short walk and talked. She continuously asked "Are you ok? Do you want to sit down?" At least I know she cares.
"I'm sorry, I'm just worried."
"I know you are, I can tell." we both laughed at that a little.
"Could we talk about something other than me and my not so much of a "condition" condition?" I requested.
"Yes, that's fine. I figured you would get tired of it." Rylie said, looking at the ground with a shy smile on her face.
"Sure-- you did" i said sarcastically.
"Let's get back to the topic of... the future." Rylie said waving her arms in a arched motion gesturing a rainbow.
"Ok that's fine. About the kids, how many do you want?"
"Since I'm going through the pain I'm going to say one."
"Ok" I laughed a little to much at that.
"So we are going to have one kid and live in the Smokey mountains in a cabin?" I asked with the half smile that drives her crazy on my face and slightly looking up at her.
"Sounds awesome." She said in a firm voice doing the same as me.
"We should try to get home a little faster, your mom is probably almost home. I'm not sure she wants you out."
Ok whatever, I thought. I just nodded.
