First of the prolog is relatively short. I wasn't sure if I was even going to do one, but I thought it would be better then having the characters explain it in the first chapter because it would seem forced. Like in movies when someone is talking on the phone and keep repeating what the person on the phone said just so the audience knows what is happening. I don't think this even counts as a prolog because it is literally just there to explain stuff. Anyway hope you enjoy.
Prolog:
In a School where your either part of the "Golden Children", meaning the students with good grades that are always well behaved, or a part with the "Misfits" which means as you can guess the bad behaved kids that break the rules and have bad grades you must be on your best behaviour. Every miss step or even coming to late to class once will bring you closer and closer to finding out what exactly the school does with the Children that never change and don't even try.
The "Golden children" are said to become the World leaders some day and that alone is reason enough for a lot of parents to send their children to a school that operates outside of the system. Because graduating from this school as one of the best of the best could save a family even if they were as they called it "at the bottom of the food chain". And that is exactly what the parents of Roxanne Davis hoped for when they signed her up for the school behind her back.
