And with those words she left the stage and the student body started getting up and trudge back to their suitcases. So I did the same thing only to find a note on my luggage. As I looked at the others I saw that all of them had one as well. I picked up the paper and turned it around. The note read: "Room 24 in house C. second floor." A sigh left my lips, and I couldn't help but murmur under my breath: "Well great because I exactly know where on this giant campus "House C" is." A quiet voice made me jump not expecting any sort of answer. "Right? They lead us to this place and then tell us "Good luck finding your rooms." Why couldn't they at least send some student to come pick us up?" I glanced over at the girl. Her red curly hair went down to just under her chin. She had high cheekbones a soft jaw and full lips and round chocolate eyes. The girl had a beautiful body shape that made her look taller than she actually was since she was maybe 4 feet 7 or 8. Her skin was tan, and her make-up was light and elegant. She was wearing a green t-shirt with a skull on it and black ripped jeans.
"Hi, I'm Tessa by the way." She held out her hand and I shook it quickly "Roxanne but call me Roxy." Tessa nodded before looking at her note again. "So you're in House C too? What room?" I had to look at the note again before I could answer. "Room 24 you?" A smile planted itself on her lips and she looked at me with exited eyes. "Room 24 so we roomies." She started jumping up and down excitedly. With a chuckle I grabbed my bags and scanned the room for the Jax and Noah to find them across the room already looking at me and Tessa. I tilted my head to se side and pointed at the two silently asking if they were in the same room. Both of them nodded and a sigh of relief escaped my lips. Before they had the chance to come over to me Tessa had a firm grasp on my wrist and was pulling me out of the building and back to the normal part of school.
"I'm so glad I have you as my roomie and not one of the snobs that got in just because one of their parents was in the school or something." Of course I nodded in agreement and chuckled "Yea that would have been awful. I don't handle rich kids well." We continued our search for House C checking every building until we finally found it about 20 minutes later. Out of breath we opened our door with the key that was next to our notes and parked our suitcases next to the door. The room was big. It had two queen sized beds on the wall opposite to the door and right next to the beds were nightstands wand in the middle of the wall was a giant window. The room was perfectly mirrored, had two shelfs and two desks pushed against the wall of the door. There were two giant wardrobes and an extra dresser which made me wonder how many clothes these rich kids usually brought with them.
Tessa's voice brought me back to reality and out of my thoughts. "Soo do you want left or right?" It didn't really matter so I just shrugged "I don't know... Right I guess" She nodded and started moving her stuff to the left side of the room. Following her example I did the same thing. While I was picking up my suitcase and laying it down on my bed to open it she was already putting clothes away and books on the shelf. I opened my suitcase and took the few clothes in the dresser before getting the rest of my stuff sorted and unpacked.
Even thou Tessa had a head start and was clearly faster when it came to unpacking I was done before her. So I decided to just lay down on the bed and close my eyes. I didn't even realise that I fell asleep until someone shaking me gently woke me up. "Hey uhm.. Rox? Don't you want to change before sleeping?" Slowly opening my eyes I saw Tessa giggling and sitting on the edge of my bed. She was already changed and looked like she was ready for bed. "Yea..." I sat up and saw a tray on my desk with a sandwich on it. "Wait how long was I asleep? Where did that food come from?" My obvious confusion made her giggle even more "Well they brought food for us. I guess they know how exhausted some are after the trip here." That made sense. At least a little bit. Looking over at Tessa's desk I saw that her plate was also completely untouched. Following my gaze she got up from my bed and grabbed her trey before placing it on the floor in the middle of the room. "Well.. I thought we could eat together. That's the main reason I woke you up to be honest." As I got up I couldn't help but smile at the girl. I grabbed my plate and put it on the floor so that we would be facing each other while eating. "Can I change before we eat. This dress is not really comfortable." She mirrored my smile and nodded. "Yea no problem." I grabbed my giant grey ACDC T-shirt and a pair of sweatpants and looked around. "The bathroom is that door over there" She pointed to a door I failed to notice before. I walked inside the bathroom and let my gaze wander around the room. There were the usual bathroom things: Sink and mirror, toilet, a small cupboard. But what got my attention was the huge Shower that was in the far-right corner of the room. It looked like it could hold 4 people at the same time.
Before I could stare at it much longer I remembered that Tessa was waiting with the food, so I quickly changed and made my way back to our room. As I sat down in front of her she was already eating her sandwich and I took a bite out of mine. "So Roxanne, I didn't see you on my bus. And I'm pretty sure I would have noticed you. Did your parents drive you here?" Swallowing my bite it thought back to the people on my bus and she was right: We weren't on the same bus. "Apparently there was more than one bus. My parents don't even know where the School is." As if thinking my words over she nodded a few times before taking the final bite of her sandwich and washing it down with some water. "I guess that makes sense... There were a lot of students it that hall and I doubt we would have fit in one bus" Now it was my turn to nod.
Looking down at my half-eaten sandwich I sighed. Something tasted of... Not necessarily bad, it was actually rather tasty but still, it tasted wrong. Before I could think about it too much I finished it quickly and downed the water. We got up from the floor and put the trays back on our desks. "Do you want to go to sleep?" A yawn escaped her lips and from one moment to the next she looked like she was about to pass out. Yawning I as well could feel how I was becoming sleepier by the second. It was odd thou.. I basically just woke up and it usually took me hours to get tired after I napped. But I wasn't complaining one bit, so instead of answering in an actual sentence I just nodded and flopped back onto my bed this time pulling the covers over me. Tessa was doing the same after pulling the curtains and blinds shut and turning of the light. I mumbled a quick "Good night" but was already asleep before I could her reply.
