Chapter 02

"Morning," my hoarse voice greeted Darren who'd been silently staring at me. His jet black hair and golden eyes that look like a gem under the morning sun, never fail to mesmerize me. A very familiar sight every time I open my eyes in the morning.

"Hi, handsome," Darren greeted back and gave me a light kiss. I scoff at his flirt and return his kiss.

He continues to kiss me and slowly he climbs on top of me.

"We just did it last night and we have work today," I tried to negotiate with him who already started to lift and spread my leg.

"A round should be fine. You're having a day off, right?" he said and immediately occupied my mouth again to prevent any protest. 

His hand was already on the back of my head, slightly pulling me up, deepening our kiss, and making sure my mouth was preoccupied with his. I wrap my hands around his neck, enjoying the moment despite knowing better.

"Errm, sorry but people from the military have been waiting since half an hour ago," Harry's call disrupted us. This personal attendants of mine tried to look unbothered as he stood close to the door, talking while turning his face away from us.

Darren clicked his tongue but fortunately, he let me go and started to prepare himself. I sit up, putting an outer and looking at Harry. 'Thanks,' I mouthed him. He just gave me a flash smile.

After George, Darren's assistant accidentally caught an unsightful scene of me and Darren having sex in the morning, no one dares to come into our room. The thing that makes it even more awkward is that both of us didn't even bother by his intrusion and continue with our activity. Since then, everyone relies on Harry to call Darren for work.

Darren gets dressed fastly, putting on his usual work clothes. "Harry, bring breakfast for Caden here," Darren's instruction was replied with a nod. 

After wearing his suit, finishing the looks, Darren approaches me to give me another kiss. "You should rest more. I'll see you at dinner," he said. I smiled at him and just wave to make him go. I feel bad for the people who've been waiting.

"Ah, Luca is visiting. Please, don't let him be too attached to you," Darren said from the door before he left.

Harry approached me after the door was closed and handed me an envelope. "You have a letter from your brother," he said while I picked a glass of water. I look at the familiar handwriting and put it aside to read later. "Why send a letter when you usually message him?" Harry asked. It means he needs something. "It's fun," I simply answered.

"You finally remove your collar?" I asked the man in front of me as I sip the coffee. His slim body and tanned skin were wrapped in light color clothes. His face turned slightly red, making it look similar to the tint pink color of his blonde hair.

"What- eh, yeah," Kei said blushing,

"And just recently got engaged. Why don't you get married immediately? He is your mate, you love each other, why wait for winter to have the wedding?" I asked.

"We take things... slowly," he said embarrassed, taking the tea that has turned cold in front of him. Well, they definitely are. I just got very relieved hearing their engagement finally happened after two years of dating, filled with too much drama.
