I sat next to Hiccup pale, tired, and slightly injured as I looked over at the others "Alright! Alright, everybody! Settle down, please!" Hiccup said and everyone keeps shouting and talking causing something inside me to rise in worry as Hiccup turned to Fishlegs, "Fishlegs, have you ever seen that species of dragon before?" Hiccup asked and Fishlegs nodded dizzy from Grimmel shooting him with a dart and faints falling off of his chair "Hiccup those were Deathgrippers... They are apex predators" I said lowly and he nodded gently "Let me at 'em!" Spitelout shouted his eyes narrowed and a Viking spoke up loudly "i'll give him a piece of my mind. And by mind, I mean fist!" the Viking punches another Viking in the face I sigh and shake my head. "Did you miss the part where we almost died? Have you seen my house? This is a new kind of enemy and I underestimated him. Now, that's on me. But I will not do that again." Hiccup motioned towards me and the others and Snotlout spoke up angry "We're Vikings! We don't run from a fight. At least I don't" Snotlout points at Eret "You might" Eret and I roll our eyes and Eret speaks up, "I agree with Hiccup. We haven't seen the last of Grimmel. He's a predator, single-minded and patient. He won't stop until he gets what he wants" he said and I nodded as Valka spoke up as well "I'm with Eret" Snotlout looked at Valka in amazement then glared at Eret angrily and I rolled my eyes "We have to take this threat seriously" I said and looked at Valka who nodded gently and Hiccup smiled at me gently before speaking up "Grimmel is just a sign of the times. Our enemies are getting smarter, more determined. We're not just overcrowded. We are exposed, and vulnerable. Short of full-blown war and risking everyone we love, I don't... I don't see a way of staying here any longer" Everyone starts talking again more loudly and I let out a loud dragon call that got peoples attention "Hey! Hear him out!" I snapped looking on them in frustration and I looked at Hiccup nodding gently for him to continue.
"If we want to live in peace with our dragons, we need a better plan" Hiccup said and Gobber looked at him in thought as I sat back down "So, what are you saying, Chief?" Gobber asked moving his head to the side curious "I'm saying we have to disappear. Off the map. Take the dragons to a place where no one will find them" I hummed in agreement with Hiccup and a male Viking spoke up "and where might that be?" The Viking asked and I smiled "He's talking about a quest the Hidden World" confusion swept over everyone "the hidden what?" A female viking asked and Ruffnut huffed "out to lunch" and Tuffnut laughed "yeah" I glared at the two making them shut up and I looked back out "My father was obsessed with it when I was a boy. He made notes and maps in search of the ancestral home of all dragons, tucked away somewhere beyond the edge of the world. It may be the solution we need. We're dragon people. It's where we belong" The tribe don't sound like the sound of what Hiccup is saying and don't seem to believe him and I let out an uneasy huff, "Look, I know this is our home. My father left me to protect it..." Some of the Vikings look like they are starting to believe him and I smiled gently "but Berk is more than this place. We are Berk! The people! The dragons! I say Berk is wherever we go" The twins sitting on a bench and look bored until Tuffnut jumped up and shouted "I'm with him! Who else?"
HEY! I know I haven't much since I started, but I am now in quarantine so between online schooling and my free days Monday and Wednesday I am free to write so I will try to do as much as I can! Enjoy!
