in just one brief moment
our eyes had met,
and a feeling settled
itself between us,
unseen.time slowed,
the univserse halted
for one brief moment,
and we were
encapsulated.dark eyes set in a
sculpted face,
tall stranger,
how was mine drawn
to them anyways?i looked up,
caught the glint
in your eyes of
dark starlight,
and plummeted.did you feel it too?
the weight of the world
when our eyes locked
in a brief eternity,
or was it just me?i could have sworn
that i've seen you
before,
familiarity found
between our fleeting
moment.i wonder,
as our gaze broke,
and we brushed past,
was i to you
a familiar stranger?dark eyes, brown curls,
silver chain caught
between your black
shirt and collarbone.a handsome stranger,
tall and mysterious,
i glanced back,
to look at you
one last time.and met your
eyes of night
once more,
for the last time.
