"Jungkook? You've been in here a long time... you know, just checking you didn't die as well." Taehyung said while walking into the alleyway with his flashlight. Taehyung had been in the car for about fifteen minutes now with no sign of Jungkook coming out anytime soon and so he was just worried for his partner? who was not really his partner? "Jungkook?" Taehyung called out once more and stopped in his tracks since he was pretty creeped out being in the alleyway all alone. "Yeah?" Jungkook spoke up behind Taehyung who jumped.

Turning around in an instant, Taehyung breathed out once he saw Jungkook. "Where did you-" Taehyung saw the bloodstain on Jungkook's shirt. "What happened?!" Taehyung asked while grabbing the shirt to check if Jungkook was actually hurt. "Nothing, it's nothing. I'm fine. Why did you leave the veh- Taehyung!" Jungkook was busy trying to finish his sentence when Taehyung lifted Jungkook's shirt to see no wound or anything! But there was blood? It looked like blood.

"Let's go." Jungkook huffed out in annoyance as he grabbed Taehyung's wrist and led him out of the alleyway. It was in a fast walking manner too which only made Taehyung more clueless about what just happened. "You're making no sense," Taehyung spoke to Jungkook who knew he wasn't but he didn't know what else to say. "Jungkook-" Taehyung couldn't finish his sentence as Jungkook turned and looked deep into Taehyung's eyes. "You remember nothing. You stayed in the car and fell asleep waiting for me. I caught the suspect and took care of them. That's all you'll remember." Jungkook said in a calming voice.

Taehyung stopped in his tracks and as he looked into Jungkook's eyes, he felt his mind go blank. "I fell asleep waiting for you. You caught the suspect and took care of them." Taehyung repeated in a whisper before his eyes closed and suddenly he felt lightheaded. Usually, this never happened to anyone Jungkook compelled but with Taehyung? The boy held his head before his legs gave out which then caused Jungkook to grab onto Taehyung and hold him while the boy passed out in his arms. "Tae...? Taehyung? Hey, Tae." Jungkook lightly shook Taehyung but the boy was out of it.

Jungkook thought this evening couldn't get any crazier but now he had Taehyung passed out on his arms and why? This never happened before in Jungkook's existence. Maybe it was because Jungkook said Taehyung fell asleep? But... his memories should have just adjusted to make Taehyung think he was asleep. So why did Taehyung pass out? Jungkook looked around before he saw Hoseok from a faraway distance. Right... so after shoving Yoongi's body in a dumpster, he quickly texted Namjoon to come to get Yoongi's body and to lock him up so they could ask questions.

Though he guessed Hoseok followed Namjoon and now... well, Hoseok was staring at Taehyung who he thought was Taesoo from a distance but he knew it wasn't. "What's wrong with him?" Hoseok asked and Jungkook picked up Taehyung in a bridal style carry since it was easier. "I compelled him and he blacked out," Jungkook said with a broken voice. For some reason saying that he compelled Taehyung was relieving but... hurtful? Since well, he thought he wouldn't be able to compel Taehyung.

When a vampire cares a lot for a human, they can't compel the human. It was relieving that he was able to compel Taehyung because well... that meant Jungkook didn't deeply care for Taehyung but that was the sad part of it for Jungkook. This boy in his arms looked exactly like his first love... like Kim Taesoo but he knew deep down it wasn't Taesoo and that's why he was able to compel Taehyung. "Namjoon took Yoongi back. Are you going to be okay?" Hoseok asked.

Jungkook gave a nod and Hoseok nodded back as he took a little more time to look at Taeso- Taehyung before he was off. Jungkook on the other hand gulped while looking down at Taehyung who didn't move a single muscle. It really felt like he was sleeping as he walked to the vehicle and laid Taehyung in the front seat where he then buckled him up and got in himself. Since he didn't know where Taehyung lived, he sat there. Thinking over all these possibilities in his head.

Eventually, Jungkook looked over at Taehyung and felt a little angry that Taehyung was with him. Taehyung was... so different and so out there that Jungkook didn't know how to handle that. Taehyung loved to talk and Jungkook loved the silence. Yet even though Jungkook loved the silence, Taehyung made him smile more often when they were together than when he was alone, and in all honesty... that scared him. Jungkook knew he should compel Taehyung to leave him alone or to back off or anything! to get Taehyung to stay away but a little part of him still held onto Taesoo.

Not even a full week working with Taehyung and they were in this mess. It made Jungkook want to laugh because he should have just compelled Taehyung to stay away the moment Hoseok suggested it, right? "Yoo...ngi." Taehyung started to chant in his sleep. Coming out as whispers before they started to get louder. Jungkook turned to Taehyung with a face full of shock from the name coming from Taehyung's mouth. "Yoon-" Then with a gasp, Taehyung woke up. Eyes widened before it looked like he completely forgot what he was dreaming of.

"Taehyung?" Jungkook spoke out after a while of seeing that Taehyung was in a daze. Clearing his throat once he saw Jungkook, Taehyung smiled a bit. "Sorry... did I fall asleep?" Taehyung asked with a laugh. Jungkook wanting to go along with it nodded. "Uh... yeah, you did. You were chanting the name Yoongi... do you know someone named Yoongi?" Jungkook asked with a confused expression. Taehyung though looked clueless. "Oh.. well no. Jimin says I chant that name in my sleep sometimes. I don't know. It's just a bad dream character I probably made up."

Jungkook gulped at that and only made him want to be at home so he could figure out what the fuck was going on. "Where do you live? I'll drop you off." Jungkook started the vehicle and was driving off within a minute of asking Taehyung who gave him the address where he could drop him off and it was the parking lot just outside the department they work at. "The joys of living in a van." Taehyung chuckled while he rubbed at his temples. Now he just had a huge headache.

The ride was quiet as Taehyung was not feeling well at all. That kind of concerned Jungkook since well... Taehyung was not the quiet one at all. Taehyung couldn't even spare a goodnight as he got out of the vehicle but was stopped by Jungkook rolling down the window. "Goodnight... Taehyung." Jungkook cleared his throat and Taehyung smiled with a nod before he started to walk to the van he lived in. Honestly wasn't what Jungkook expected but once he saw lights from within the vehicle, he thought it was pretty cool.

After that though Jungkook had to drop off the rental vehicle key and was off to his home. It didn't take long considering well... Jungkook's speed but as soon as he did get home, Namjoon was waiting for Jungkook at the door. "Jung- he's not awake yet." Namjoon tried to stop Jungkook who walked past Namjoon. "Well, he's gonna wake up now." Jungkook grabbed a bucket and went to the bathroom to fill it up. That's when Hoseok came into the picture and was watching Jungkook fill the bucket.

The two older boys followed Jungkook down the stairs and just like that, watched Jungkook pour water all over the 'sleeping' male's body. Since Yoongi was barely waking from the water, Jungkook went into the cage they locked him in and grabbed Yoongi by the collar. "Wake up before I rip your vocal cords out right now!" Jungkook sounded angrier than Hoseok and Namjoon thought he would be. There Yoongi heard the threat and was opening his heavy eyes.

Dropping Yoongi onto the floor, the boy grunted and rolled onto his stomach from the impact of the ground. Clearly, his body was not healed all that well. "How do you know Taehyung and why the hell is he mumbling your name in his sleep?" Jungkook asked calmly at first but when he saw Yoongi's eyes widen without a word coming from him, he spoke louder which then got Yoongi talking. "It's impossible. I compelled him to forget me. He shouldn't know my name!" Yoongi yelled back at Jungkook who only became madder.

"You compelled him?! So you knew about Taehyung. How? Why?" Jungkook was about to go up and grab Yoongi who moved away from Jungkook once Hoseok grabbed Jungkook. "Jungkook, calm down," Hoseok told Jungkook who was staring into the soul of Yoongi with just his eyes before he backed off. "I want to hear everything you know. Starting with Taehyung." Those words had Hoseok looking back at Namjoon who gulped. The cycle was repeating without Jungkook even noticing.
