It is broad daylight and the sky is painted in a beautiful tint of blue. Not a single grey cloud can be seen. The sun shines brightly, almost blinding the woman who was leaning on an expensive hotel's balcony. Her dark long locks are flowing due to the slight breeze and her hand goes through them.

She fixes her hair, hand placed back on the black metal railing in front of her.

Her deep gaze is filled with an emotion no one could read. She doesn't seem happy, but she isn't exactly sad too.

As her head was racing with thoughts no one could figure out, she heard steps coming her way. And it was all it took for her to understand who was walking towards her.

She feels a gentle grip around her waist. Her nostrils are filled with a familiar cologne, her eyes closing as she inhales and exhales the manly scent.

Her boyfriend is hugging her and the corners of her lips rose a bit, forming a smile. The woman's lover had noticed the undone zipper that hung around her waist just now. He carefully pulled it up, until it reached her neck and kissed the exposed skin there.

She turned around, facing her longtime lover. His eyes have sparkles floating in them as soon as their gazes meet.

His smile is so wide, it almost reaches his ears and his grip becomes tighter, wrinkling the black dress she is wearing.

Her gaze soon drops away from his and he realizes she has zoned off. He carefully trailed her eyes curiously and stopped at the vase placed on one of the resting areas on the balcony.

On the small mahogany table surrounded by fancy chairs, right in the center stood a plain white vase which is filled with narcissus flowers.

Her smile dropped and the usual stoic expression made its way to her feminine features as she stared at the flowers for a few minutes.

Not a single sound came out from her lips...

" Do you like the flowers? " Sarawat smiles. A normal person would be concerned because of her fast mood swings but he was used to it. He knew his girlfriend well, she was acting a little odd but not as weird as other people might think.

As he was about to ask her one more thing, her pink lips finally parted again.

" They say every sign has a flower. Mine is the narcissus. " She mumbled.

Sarawat let go of her waist, opened the balcony door wider, and went back inside, picking up his black coat. He lets it hang over his shoulders, covering his arms.

" You are going to the concert tonight, right? " His voice came out a little bit muffled due to him being quite far away from her.

" Yours is the tulip. " She responded, completely avoiding the question he had asked her.
