Exploring The Base | Chapter 5

Tubbo POV

I've been scrolling through these messages for a while now, and it's led me to some instructions on where I can find Y/n's base. It was underground and well protected with redstone. 

Once I finally got out of president duties, I made my way to her base, following the instructions. Finally, I found the underground base, but it felt empty being there. Like something was missing. I decided to explore and put this information in the book. This would be needed. 

I often found myself forgetting about Y/n and the things about her at times unless I read the book. Then I automatically remember. It's quite odd. I've never been that forgetful before. 

I found a room that really scared me though. It was dimly lit, the lights above flickering when I turned it on. In the room was a light blue bed and a box of some kind. The box was a.... A tv? Yeah... a tv... The tv was small and on a stand, but it wasn't playing. 

Maybe I need to find a remote..? 

There was also a desk in the room. I opened the first drawer and yelled and jumped back when I saw something in it. The syringe. What was it doing there? 

I blinked and it was gone. 

Okay. Nope. I am not doing this. I rushed out of the room and closed it shut. No more creepy vibes. I did not like that. I wrote that in the book.

Do NOT go in the west room. Very scary.

I continued to look around. There was a pet room and there was also a nether portal. I decided I had enough exploring for now. The empty feeling and the fear I felt from the west room did my nerves no good and I needed to clear my head. Not to mention I felt like something or someone was watching me. I left the underground base. Maybe I should come back here next time.

Tommy POV

Another day in exile. But I've found extra tents that I didn't build scattered around each day that went by. One day, a small cabin appeared. I decided to enter it, automatically feeling out of place. What was this place?

It had basic rooms; a bedroom, some chests, a crafting table, a furnace, and a basement. I climbed down to the basement and explored it. Looking around at the simple room, I found a hidden lever and flicked it. It opened up a passageway to some railways and a minecart. 

Gathering up my manly courage, I got into the cart and rode it into the unknown passageway. It was a long ride, but along the way, it turned into a glass tunnel. I was under the sea! Was I going in the direction of the Dream SMP? 

The ride stopped shortly after, and there was some more ladders. I climbed up them but found the top blocked. Finding a button at the side, I clicked it, opening the top and I climbed out. Looking around, I seemed to be in another room. I heard some pistons move and I paused. Waiting to hear anything else, I stayed still for a good minute before realizing whatever it was just left this place. 

I explored the place, finding a room that had a grave for Scarlett. Wait, Scarlett? 

I got my phone out and checked Y/n's dms. Right, Scarlett. Scarlett was Y/n's pet strider who died. I wonder how it died...

I continued to explore, finding a nether portal and other rooms that seemed normal. I went into the room to the left and found it to be less welcoming than the rest of the place. It was darker, but still lit enough, and there were only three items in it. 

A bed, a small standing tv thing that wasn't working, and a desk. Opening the desk drawer, I found a syringe inside of it. What was this room? It kind of looks like one of those hospital rooms from horror films. I picked up the syringe that had weird stuff inside. I wonder what it was. 

Taking it with me, I passed by another room that caused me to stop. Y/n's room, a sign said. I went inside. 

The room was white, save for the red bed in the middle of it. Sighing at how there was nothing about Y/n in the room, I was about to leave when I noticed something under the covers. I went to it and pulled it out. A photo. It was me on the left, Tubbo on the right, and a blurred out, but I could tell it was a girl, in the middle. This must have been Y/n. Staring at the photo for a little while longer, I took the photo with me.

So this was Y/n's base then. I thought about my journey as I rode the cart back, closing the redstone door to the ladders behind me before I left. 

I guess I could test out the stuff in the syringe. Maybe on a pig. If Techno visits I could try it on him- nah, I'm not that cruel. I'll just do it on normal pigs then. 

Y/n, I'll be finding you soon, so just wait for me, yeah?

And then maybe, you could answer my questions.

Where you were.

Why I couldn't remember you.

Why my heart keeps beating fast whenever I think anything relatively close to you.

Why you left.

Why I couldn't find you.

You better answer all my questions though.

"Okay Tommy. I'll be waiting."
