Crush | Chapter 9

Your POV

Everything was going back to normal. Though no one forgot that I was in a coma. How was I placed back into the Dream SMP lore? Well, we decided that I returned from my adventure of exploring the world. A very simple explanation. 

Tommy and Tubbo had flown back to their homes and I was on my own again. Well, not really. I had moved in with Dream and Sapnap primarily because the government deemed it unsafe for me to live by myself considering what happened. This teen has basically become a mother for two, grown, adult men. 

I've been hanging around on call with Tommy lately and he seems a bit more distant than how we used to be. He's more quiet and agreeing than before but I never brought it up with him. Of course I brought it up with Tubbo, and when I did Tommy seemed to talk a lot more when I called him the next time so I knew Tubbo had a word with him. After a while, he'd go back to his quiet state.

I'm not sure how our relationship went down hill. Maybe it's because we hadn't talked in a very long time because I was in a coma. Or perhaps he was embarrassed by the voicemail catchup entries he had done while I was in a coma. 

But either way, I was done with this new Tommy and I was going to use my genius brain to my advantage. 

For a few days I had been practicing voice impressions. Living with Dream and Sapnap, I was able to get their voices down using a voice changer after practicing and adjusting it for a few weeks. I told Dream that I was going to prank Tommy and if I could use his discord and he agreed. 

Dream didn't know that I was investigating Tommy's weird behavior. 

Today, I knew that Tommy was recording a mod video with Philza, Wilbur and Slimecicle. So, using my own discord account, I messaged Philza.

Y/u: Philza Minecraft please help me investigate Tommy

Philza: What do I need to do?

Y/u: Add Dream to whatever discord server you all are on right now.

Y/u: I'm gonna pretend to be Dream and investigate Tommy

Y/u: You can kick Dream's account out when I'm done

Philza: Just did it.

I checked Dream's discord and I saw that it was sent an invite to a server. I joined and hopped into the vc where there was Philza and Tommy. Wilbur and Slimecicle were on another vc.

Tommy POV

"Wait wait wait wait. DREAM???" I exclaimed as I checked who joined our vc. "Wha- what are you doing here?" 

"Tommy I've just got a simple question to ask you and then I'll be on my way." Dream told me. 

"You do know I'm recording, right?"

"Yes. Now, my question-"

"Hold up. You can't just come in here just to ask me a question."

"Just let him ask the question Tommy. More content right?" I heard Philza say. 

"Okay then. What's your question Dream?" 

I heard him take a deep breath before speaking up, "Tommy why do you act so weird around my child? You don't have a crush on Y/n do you?" 

It was silent. I saw Philza mute, probably to laugh or something. "Lo-look Dream. Many women have a crush on me-"

"Righttt, but you're avoiding my question Tommy."

It was silent again as Wilbur and Slimecicle joined our vc. "Hello boys. Dream what are you doing here?" Wilbur asked. 

"I've just asked Tommy if he has a crush on Y/n."

"Oh right! Yeah Tommy, do you?" Wilbur just made this situation worse. Slimecicle was saying something but I didn't pick it up as I was drowning in my self embarrassment. They were laughing and I just decided to answer quickly.

"Yeah, I do." I said before changing my vc to stop further embarrassing myself and to not hear what they thought about it. It was probably gonna be some teasing anyways. 

It seems Dream got what he wanted because he left the other vc a few moments later and left the server. 

"Tommy." Philza joined my call. 

Yeah, I'm gonna have to cut this from the video before sending it to editor Larry. 

Tubbo POV

I was chilling with Bensen before I got a call from Y/n. "Hey Y/n!"

"Tubbo I just found out about Tommy."

"W-what are you talking about?" I didn't accidently slip and say something to Y/n did I? Tommy would not be happy...

"I did some investigation and found out Tommy had a crush on me."

"R-really? I mean- yeah, he's has a crush on you for a while now." I answered her. What do I do now? I'm supposed to be a wingman right? What would Tommy say? Or do? What am I supposed to do!? What if-

"But I don't know how to tell Tommy that..."

"That what?" I asked quickly, a little bit worried. 

"I may have a crush on him too..."

Ya, I still got some inspiration juice so I'm gonna type more.. :p

"Really?" I almost sighed out loud from relief.

"Yeah... don't tell him though. I kinda wanna see how long it takes for him to admit it in front of me."

"How'd you find out?"

"I pretended to be Dream and asked him."

Oh. I started laughing and Y/n joined me. "I recorded it too, wanna see Tubbo?"

"Oh! Really? Yes, wait let's switch to discord." 

Yeah okay I'm ending it here. Hehehehe.
