Tommy POV

"We've- we've been best friends for a long time...

and I really wanted to tell you that..."

"I like you Y/n. More than a friend kind of way." I breathed out, finally getting over my nerves.

"... Tomm-" 

But I didn't get over all of my nerves... I quickly interrupted her. "Please don't say your rejection. We can just stay friends and act like this never happened, alright?"

I heard her sigh from her end of the call before she responded. "But I don't want to. I don't want to forget this. Tommy I like you too."

"Really? You're not lying, right?" I felt my heart beating fast in my chest. The happiness I felt was almost overwhelming. 

"Of course not! I like you too Tommy Innit." 

"Tommy?"

"Toooommmmyyyy? Are you still there?"

"Did you hang up?"

"TOMMY!"

"AH- Yeah what?"

"You spaced out idiot. What were you going to tell me?"

"Didn't I already say?"

"No... I'm quite sure you didn't. Maybe you thought you said it while you spaced out. Why don't you tell me for real now?"

I didn't say it out loud? Sh1t I must have seemed like a complete idiot in front of her. What do I do?! What do I do!?

"Actually, I'll tell you later, Y/n. I'm really tired, it's around 2:40 in the morning now-"
