Define Love | Chapter 10

Love has no limits.

When it comes to love, time seems to slow or speed up. Love can take a long time for one to realize it, or love can happen quickly, seconds after the first sight. 

True love is different from a stray arrow shot from Cupid's bow when he misses his target. That love just seems to appear out of nowhere. The unsuspecting victim of the shot falls in love with the next one they see. 

True love is not an obsession of where one needs and wants the other person so desperately that they force themselves upon their "love". 

True love comes with reason. Why must you love them so? What makes them so beautiful in your eyes? How are they incomparable with nature's beauty?
Summer's bright sun rays don't seem to shine as bright as them.
Autumn's changing colours of yellows, oranges, and reds don't compare with the way their face changes with each expression they make, making them much more enchanting than the magical change of Fall.
Spring's blooming flowers are nothing like they way they bloom and show off their beauty everyday, unlike the way flowers wilt and die after a while, their beauty is forever, no matter what.
Winter's glittering snow will never glitter the way their eyes do when they are excited or happy.

Love can trick, love can blind, but true love is hard to find.

It's hard to recognize, unless you know yourself well and understand your own emotions.

Love makes you do things that are unexpected. Love can give unreasonable consequences. Love can be harsh and cruel, but it always comes back, no matter how hard you try to push it away. 

Sure, you may not feel love towards others, you can say that all you want. 

But perhaps in the back of your mind, you still love. Though not in a romantic sense, it's still love. 

There are others that love you, and this is true for every single being. Even when you are first born, there is some or a lot of love given to you. 

Love can be an endless search, but in the end, it could be right in front of you...

Tommy is searching. It's an endless search and sometimes it feels useless. He ventures to find you, to tell you how he feels, but always submits to the fear of being rejected. Tommy knows he can't stay like this forever. He can't. He wouldn't let it. 

But as he searches for ways to tell Y/n, he learns more about you everyday. The short moments you shared on text, calls, on games, it fills him with determination to tell you the next day, only to finish the day with an unsent message. 

But he doesn't lose hope. There is no need to lose hope. He just needs to ask a simple question. A question that seemed so simple but it wasn't. 

Tubbo was basically watching a real life romance movie. He knew both feelings of both of his best friends, even worse that one of them knew the feelings of the other but wanted to see how it would play out.

It was a real life comedy romance story and Tubbo couldn't say anything about it. That's what frustrated him the most. It's the part of the movie where you just want the character to confess but they would never do it. 

As much as Tubbo would love to play wingman, he simply can't do anything. So he's been sitting back and watching it all play out. Well, not really if you count asking Tommy every day if he asked the question but other than that, he was watching the movie. 

Maybe he could have this relationship moved into the lore in the Dream SMP! Yeah! Y/n can meet Ranboo and Tommy sees Y/n interacting with Ranboo! Then, Tommy gets worried or becomes clingyinnit because Tommy doesn't want Y/n being "taken away" from him as well like Tubbo.

This was a good idea, now Tubbo had to share this idea. Maybe this could influence their real life relationship as well...

It was Jackbox Rap Battle time with Quackity, Y/n, Tommy, and the Dream Team + BadBoyHalo. Because of the uneven numbers there was a bot named Pixal. 

The first few games were pretty fun, making fun of each other, super good insults, etc. But then Y/n decided to switch things around in her next rap, which just so happened to be-

Tommy VS Y/n

With Tommy going first!

"Sorry in advance Y/n-
If you think you're great then think again
you can't beat me, you'll run away like a chicken
You're the child of a blobby green b1tch
At least your mother is someone who's British"

With some ohhs from the people in call and some laughter it was finally Y/n's turn.

"You've probably insulted me in your lines
But I'm feeling wholesome so I'll be kind
Your breath doesn't stink and you're looking quite fine
When I am with you I'd like to freeze time"

And then came some awws and laughter because Tommy had just insulted Y/n and them she complimented him right after. Y/n obviously won that round and she had somewhat of an idea of what she did to Tommy. Currently, Tommy was flushing and his heart was beating fast. Thank goodness he wasn't streaming or had his camera turned on. He was definitely going to clip that and save your rap however.

Tommy had just received his script for his next lore streams. And after reading a few his mind just stopped.

Oh f**k. I might have to practice not blushing saying these lines.

But then the text from Y/n just finished him.

Y/n: Can't wait to do these lines with you 😉

Tommy: Yeah..

Tubbo was laughing at the message that Y/n had sent after she had screenshotted it and sent it to him. He needed some more popcorn. You're welcome Tommy.
