When Touhou met MHA | Book 2: Barriers and Borders

Chapter 5

The heroes were charging out to fight the villains. In a few seconds, the villains for beaten up and they retreated. The purple fog disappeared as well. Suddenly, when the fog was about the vanish, a single black figure dropped out of it.

"That looks like a person!" Ejiro Kirishima exclaimed.

"We've got to help him!" Tenya Iida cried.

"It could be a villain..." Mine Ashido murmured.

"Let's just go," Katsuki Bakugou said grouchily.

The four girls had an idea of what it might be. 

"Sakuya's World," Sakuya murmured. She tried to make time continue for her friends. Then, they hurried to it and brought it to their mansion. Time flowed again.

"H-huh?" The things said softly, it had blond hair, a black dress, white sleeves and a red ribbon attached to her hair.

"Rumia?" Marisa asked, peering at her.

"Gensokyo's in trouble!" She yelled.

"Who is that!?" a voice behind them yelled.

"Flan?" Rumia said, standing up.

"Oh. It's you," Flandre replied, "And why do you always do that weird T-Pose?"

"C-Cirno-chan..." Rumia started, "She got captured!"

"Guess we'll have to leave earlier then," Reimu said.

"Rumia?" Sanae asked, "How did you get here?"

"I was fighting against those monsters thingies until I saw some of them escaping down some sort of purple cloud,"

"Purple cloud?" Sakuya asked. "Continue,"

"Cirno got captured by one of the biggest villains so I followed them!"

"Did they get anyone else?"

"Uh... I think they also got Daiyousei!"

"So we need to get to Gensokyo soon,"

"Also, fighting them was kinda weird..."

"What kind of weird?"

"It's like we know that we're stronger, but our power is weaker!"

"That's strange,"

"I wanna save Cirno!"

"We'd better not tell her where we are," Sanae whispered.

Rumia, who heard her, asked, "Where are we?"

"This is the uh... outside world," Marisa replied.

"Are humans here delicious?"

"I'm sure they taste like poop,"

"Awww ok"

"Flandre?"

"Yeah?" Flandre asked.

"Can you show us the location where you found Sekibanki's head?"

"Ok then,"

They changed to their normal Gensokyo clothes and followed Flandre, who grabbed an umbrella, into a dark alleyway. In the alleyway, there was a portal with eyes inside.

"That looks like Yukari's gap!" Reimu exclaimed. "I knew we shouldn't have left!"

They stepped into the gap and teleported to the border of Gensokyo. They were somewhere in between Human Village and Bamboo Forest of the Lost. They saw a giant battle raging nearby. It was a bunch of hideous villains against Youmu Konpaku, Sekibanki and Letty Whiterock.

"You arrived!" Youmu exclaimed

"Woah!" Flandre exclaimed, "I wanna help!"

She summoned her Lævateinn and charged in, vaporizing a villain in a few strikes. After a while, her attacks seemed to grow weaker. It took more and more strikes to decimate a villain.

"See?" Rumia said, pointing to Flandre, "The attacks become weaker,"

"Let's not just stand and watch," Sanae said.

They ran into the fight trying to destroy as much villains as possible.

"Retreat!" A villain yelled, who seemed to be their leader and who seemed to be made of the purple smoke.

The villains disappeared into the fog and disappeared.

"So how did they get here?" Sakuya asked.

"I'm not sure. I was near Human Village and I saw Sekibanki who suddenly got attacked by a monster," 

"They were from the outside world,"

"Are you sure?"

"Definitely,"

"Since when did they have powers? And why did you leave?"

"They have abilities called quirks and we left to see how much the outside world changed,"

"We have to go rescue the two fairies," Letty Whiterock said.

"How are you not in hibernation?" Marisa asked.

"I hibernate during summer; it's fall now,"

"Oh ok,"

"But we have to rescue Cirno and her friend,"

"You might want to know how Flandre got here," Youmu interrupted.

"Yeah," Sakuya replied, "Remilia wrote a note about her breaking through the barrier,"

"She didn't break through the barrier,"

"Really?"

"It wasn't her fault at all, actually,"

"So what happened?"

"About a day ago, I was walking to Human Village to buy some stuff and I watched Flandre running around holding an umbrella until a gap opened and she fell into it,"

"A gap? Could it be..."

"Yukari? Yes, I'm sure of it,"

"THAT GAP HAG!" Reimu hollered, "I'M GOING TO EXTERMINATE HER FOREVER IF I EVER SEE HER AGAIN!"

"Chill, Reimu," Marisa chided.

"So Yukari is working WITH the villains!?" Sanae cried.

"Mhm," Youmu said.

"She must also be the reason about how the villains became stronger," Marisa said, "We'll have to get back to the outside world,"

"I'll stay here just in case Yukari comes back Youmu said,"

"Flandre, can you stay here?" Sakuya asked.

"Yep! I want to see big sister!" Flandre replied, "I also want to fight too!"

"Good," 

"How do we get back, now?" Marisa asked."We need our own gap hag,"

"Just the gap," Reimu replied. "Without a hag,"

"Whatever. My point is that we need to get back,"

"I think I might be able to reverse ourselves to the state where we were in the outside world?" Sakuya asked, "Except I'm not sure if our minds will be reversed too,"

"I got an idea!" Sanae exclaimed.

"What is it?" 

"I remember when I first arrived here, Reimu was able to manipulate the border!"

"Huh. I'll try," Reimu said.

She focused her energy on one point of the border and waited. Suddenly a bright blue portal appeared in the wall.

"I did it!"

They stepped into the door leading to the outside world to stop the villains and perhaps help the heroes too.
