When Touhou met MHA | Book 2: Barriers and Borders

Chapter 11

After that day, every time they walked in the school, they felt eyes watching them. They once thought that Mike was staring at them carefully. Another moment was when Aizawa was watching them from a nearby window.

"What is happening?" Sanae whispered. "Why are the teachers staring at us?"

"They probably heard of what happened last night," Sakuya whispered back. "Those two probably told the others,"

"I hate this feeling," 

"Neither do us,"

They kept talking until they arrived in class.

"Are you okay?" Midoriya asked. "You seem really anxious,"

"N-No, no. We're fine," Marisa replied with a shrug.

"Hey Sakuya, Reimu!" Mina Ashido cried from the other side of the class.

"Hi Mina," Sakuya replied.

They were surrounded by all the other girls in their class.

"We can go swimming tomorrow to prepare for the quirk training camp," Kyouka explained

"Sounds like a great idea!" Sanae exclaimed.

Marisa tilted her head and noticed Minoru Mineta sneaking glances at them and drooling.

"I'll reserve a time for the pool," Momo suggested.

Then, they had class normally, but it wasn't too ordinary. The teachers seemed to be trying to not stare at them. They were being watched. Constantly. 

The next day after school, the girls went to the reception room of the pool where they found Aizawa and class 1-B homeroom teacher.

"Can we go to the pool?" Sakuya asked.

"Endurance training? 5 o'clock," Aizawa replied.

They changed to the school bathing suit and went to the pool. They found the rest of the girls playing volleyball.

"Hey, Reimu! Over here!" Hagakure cried. She tossed her the ball.

Soon, the buys arrived too.

"How about we do a race?" Iida suggested.

"Let us help, too," Momo offered. 

"Do we do boys first or girls first, or do we mix?" Kirishima asked.

"Let's do boys first!" Kaminari suggested.

They started with a contest between Mineta, Tokoyami, Koda, Kaminari and Bakugou. Bakugou ended up in the end, victorious.

"You didn't even touch the water!" Kirishima complained.

"It's called Freestyle!" Bakugou retorted.

"Can we do the girls now?" Sanae suggested.

"Alright then!" Mina exclaimed.

Sakuya, Asui, Momo, Uraraka and Marisa.

"Start!" Reimu cried, blowing on a whistle she found nearby.

Asui leaped as far as she could then swum very fast.  Momo made a mechanical toy shark which she clung onto. Uraraka made herself weightless and nearly jumped to the other side. Marisa summoned her broom and flew.

"Sakuya is the winner," Reimu declared.

"How? You barely blew the whistle and she made it across," Iida protested. "She didn't even swim!"

"Don't compare me to Bakugou," Sakuya replied. "I did swim,"

"She IS wet..." Marisa noticed.

"Let's do a round of boys and girls together!" Hagakure suggested.

Now, it was Midoriya, Todoroki, Jiro, Reimu, and Bakugou (Who insisted to be in the round again)

Iida blew the whistle. However, none of them was able to use their quirks except for Reimu, who summoned a bunch of tiny Cautionary Borders and leaped from one to another to the other side.

"What...?" Aizawa muttered under his breath. His hair was raised onto the top of his head again and his eyes were glowing red. He regained his serious face again. "It's five o'clock now,"

"Aw... c'mon!" Kirishima whined.

Aizawa glared even more. None of the students dared to argue and left. When the four girls left, some of the students swarmed them.

"How did you manage to resist Aizawa's erasing?" Momo asked. 

"I- I don't know... maybe he forgot to erase mine?" Reimu stammered, unsure of what to say.

"He probably has a bigger eye sore every time he erases more than one quirk," Sanae cut in.

Reimu shot her a silent thank you.

"See you at the training camp!" Uraraka cried, waving.

And they all left.

Teacher's Meeting

"Ok then!" Nezu declared. "We'll need to prepare for the quirk training camp for the first years!"

Aizawa was staring down glumly.

"What's the matter, dude?" Mike asked gently.

"It's just... today when it was five o'clock, I cancelled my student's quirks for awhile," he replied, looking up. "It worked for everyone... except for Hakurei,"

"Like with Izayoi?" Midnight asked. 

"Yeah. They also seemed rather suspicious today,"

"I say you don't worry. Maybe some of the evolved quirks of the newest generations can prevent that!" All Might said.

"We can analyse their quirk during the quirk training camp," Vlad King suggested.

"Let's warn Mandalay,"

Nezu pressed a button on his remote and a holographic image of Mandalay and Pixie-Bob appeared.

"Hey there!" Pixie-Bob cried. "Every thing is almost finished!"

"What's the matter?" Mandalay asked.

"Do you have the list of students?" Nezu asked.

"Right here," Mandalay replied, holding a piece of paper.

"Can you find Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Sakuya Izayoi, and Sanae Kochiya?"

"Hmm... let's see... Ha... Hakurei... Kiri...Same...," Pixie-Bob muttered as she read. "Found it! So now what?"

"We believe their quirks are rather... peculiar. Can you keep a careful watch on them?"

"Okay then," Mandalay replied, scribbling a note.

Nezu clicked on the remote again and the hologram disappeared.

"Now we have backup,"  He said, turning to face the other teachers.

Woohoo! One more chapter before the next book (Actually two). If you want updates for what I've been doing for the past few days, I wrote an update log for y'all! And I started drawing a new cover! (Not kidding, I using an Apple Pen and my IPad to draw a new one) So I finished editing Sakuya so far. The cover might be changed in like... a month? Have a great day!  -SLuigi
