Amelia's P.O.V.
I sat in the plane hugging my stomach as Super Freak by Rick James played through my headphones. I was crouching over my legs as I let my hair fall to the sides of head and I ran one of my hands through my hair bored out of my mind. I began to tap my foot to the words of the song as I let go of my stomach and put my head back closing my eyes. I began to mumble the song under my breath as my mind went blank.

Suddenly I felt a pair of eyes on me and heard a small laugh. I lowered my head looking in front of me to notice a taller male with blonde hair. I'd take one of my earbuds out and look at him with a dumbfounded face as he'd smile at you obviously finding something funny. I look up at the Agent beside the smiling male, as he'd just look at me annoyed. "Oh I'm singing too loud aren't I..?" I worryingly ask, super embarrassed. "Yeah, but nice music choice though" the blonde male would say. "Oh uh, thank you!" I proudly say.

"My name's Amelia Carney by the way! You are?" I said waving at the male as the music still played in my other earbud. "Steve Rodgers" he'd say as he'd slightly wave back. "Oh you'd the dude they pulled out the ice!" I say worried it was a touchy subject for my new found friend. "Eh, what can I say? I was tired" Steve would shrug causing me to slightly smile and lean back in the seat putting back in my earbud and pressing the next button on Spotify. Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy by QUEEN started playing as I recognized it by the first beat.

I noticed the Agent by the name of Phil started talking to Steve making him look at little on edge. Phil looked like a total fanboy over Steve causing me to smile wondering how I would act if someone was totally fanboying over me. I looked towards the pit where the pilots were and they looked back at me making a hand signal telling me we were going to land soon. I picked up my backpack and swing it around and onto my back as I felt a bump on the floor causing me to slightly shift my weight on my heels.

As I walked off the aircraft next to Steve and Phil I saw Natasha walking up to us. Phil would say something but I didn't hear it because I still had my music blasting in my ears. Phil would gesture to Steve, I assumed he was introducing him to Nat as I trailed off looking around on the platform we were on. I saw many people working and running around. Some with helmets, some with goggles, and just some with a T-shirt and pants running around to build up their agility.

I was quickly snapped back to reality to feel myself getting nudged. I looked forward to see Natasha in front of me. She'd rip my earbuds out as I'd slightly protest by a low "Hey!". "Pay attention." She'd say as I huffed putting my phone in my back pocked followed by my earbuds. Natasha told Phil he had to go to some bridge. "See you there" Steve would say as Phil walked away from us. "It was quite the buzz around here, finding you in the ice" Natasha would say walking as Steve and I followed her. "I thought Coulson was gonna swoon" she joked as I lowly laughed looking at the people who walked by us. "Did he ask you to sign his Captain America trading cards yet?" Natasha asked. "Trading cards?" Steve would question as Natasha looked off in front of her. "They're vintage... he's very proud." Natasha would say as a male with brown hair would wonder around trying to avoid the people consistently walking past him.

"Dr Banner" Steve would say getting the mans attention. "Woah.. that's the dude who turns into the muscled green thing?" I ask and Natasha looks back at me smiling in a confused manner. "What else am I supposed to call him? Green papa smurf?" I say defensively crossing my arms in embarrassment. Once Banner approached us he shook Steve's hand. "Uh yeah.. hi" banner would say as he looks at Natasha and I. "They'd told me you'd be coming.." he'd say directing his attention back to Steve. "Word is you can find the cube" Steve said as Banner looked around nervously . "Is.. that the only word on me? He asks as he looks back to Steve. "Only word I care about." Steve says shrugging. Banner would direct his attention towards Natasha and I.

"Hello, Dr. Bruce Banner" he'd say holding out his hand. I put my hand out shaking it back as I smiled saying "Amelia Carney". "Oh I don't believe I've heard about you?" Banner would say looking at Natasha awkwardly. "Yeah I'm sort of new to the whole S.H.E.I.L.D. Superhero gig" I say letting go of his hand and adjusting my backpack. "Oh what can you do?" He'd ask looking at me confused "hallucinating manipulation" I would say for short.

Banner would give me a confused look as if he was wondering how my powers worked. "I'll show you how they work later. I just say Hallucination and manipulation for short because my vocabulary is the length of a child's book" I joked as he smiled nodding.

"Must be new for you.. all of this" Banner would ask redirecting his attention to Steve and gesturing to the training group. Steve would glance at the group and then back to Banner. "Well, this is actually kind of familiar" I would walk off past the small group to the edge of the platform we were standing on, rushing water below me. I'd put my head up looking in the far distance as the wind would blow my hair back and forth some getting slightly into my eyes. I move the hair out of my face and hear Natasha say something but I couldn't hear it over the water and the wind singing at my ears.

Suddenly I notice Steve and Banner stepping next to me as they looked down at the water too. It smells so fresh and clean, I don't know how this moment could get any better. Suddenly I felt the platform slightly shake as I heard loud metals banging against each other from under my feet. "Is this a submarine?" Steve asked as he looked over the edge. Banner would smile looking over at Steve "Really..? They would want me in a submerged, pressurized, metal container?" He'd jokingly ask as he also peered over the edge.

Suddenly a very large spinning object submerges from the water. It was an engine.. "I don't think, direction wise.. we're going down.." I say as I glance at Banner and he'd look at me then back to the engine. "Oh no, this is much worse" Banner would say smiling. I look behind me to see people in helmets and goggles strapping in the ships and tying things to the ship.

I'd look over to at Natasha as she'd just smile and walk off towards the inside of the S.H.E.I.L.D base. I nudge Banner and Steve and they'd turn around and also decide to follow Natasha inside. I took one more look around the platform as the wind would spiral my hair. "Nice to meet you both by the way" I say as I turn around to Banner and Steve walking backwards. "Likewise" Steve says as Banner replies with a "You too".
