New York City, 2012. STARK TOWER

Amelia P.O.V.
I crouch down glaring at the 13 Chitauri below me. I disintegrate the Scythe as I take a deep breath in and exhale sharply. My rips felt like a knife was stabbing at them every time I moved. I groaned and looked over to the vehicle that one of the Chitauri were driving.

"Well that's new"

I smile and kick one of the Chitauri off the side of the building as I rush to the vehicle. I glance around to try and see how to start it when. I start hitting random buttons and soon enough the vehicle made a purring sound followed by a choking sound. I press another button causing for it to jerk me forward and go full speed ahead.

After figuring out the mechanics of the vehicle I zoomed down to where Banner, Natasha, Steve, and a couple other friends were. Wait Banner?! I hop off the vehicle as it crashes into the ground and I approach Banner.

"Hey—Where the hell did you go? One moment you're purging everyone you see, the next you disappear!" I worryingly ask. Banner just shrugs and looks back at the group.

"So... this all seems... horrible.." Banner lowly says gesturing to the torn-apart town and aliens around us. "I've seen worse" Natasha comments causing Banner to intuitively look down at his feet—hinting he's ashamed.

"Sorry.." he lightly laughs

"No... we—we could use a little worse." Natasha smirks and I nod my head back.

Steve then outs his hand up to his ear piece.

"Stark? We got him"
"Banner?"
"Just like you said"

I could practically feel Stark's ego getting bigger, knowing he was right. "Then tell him to suit up—I'm bringing the party to you."

After a few moment we all turn our heads to Stark, who is leading a Leviathan straight to Banner and the rest of the team. My mouth hangs open as I look up to the Leviathan—who is currently destroying everything it crosses path with.

"I—I don't see how that's a 'party'.." Natasha comments as the team focuses their attention on Banner.

Iron man then swoops down causing the Leviathan to crash into the road, digging up dirt and heading right towards us. The Leviathan starts to pick up speed as it heads more closer to us.

"Dr. Banner, now might be a really good time for you to get angry.." Steve worryingly suggests.

"That's my secret, Captain" Banner says as he turns to us and the Leviathan grows much closer.

"I'm always angry" Banner sighs as he turns around forming into the hulk and punching the Leviathan right in the nose causing it to stop right in in front of the group.

"God damn.." I lowly say as the Leviathan stops dead in it's tracks. "K.O.—Banner 1, Leviathan 0!" I smile as Natasha sighs. Iron man and Hulk gang up on the Leviathan. Ince Iron Man shoots a couple rockets at the thing it soon blows up causing everyone to duck under something. I created a shield to shield me and Steve who was also shielding Natasha.

"Talk about special treatment, Natasha had double protection!" I whine as I create a gun and start shooting a bunch of Chitauri who were cowering behind a tower trying to shoot us blindly.

After a few moment many more Chitauri and Leviathan's come out of the portal and into New York. I sigh and put my hands on my knees attempting to catch my breath. "God—god damnit... I never worked out for this... I...Gosh... I always thought I'd just be the chick-in-the-chair hacking into security footage.." I huff as I straighten my posture and heavily breathe.

We somehow formed a circle and I look completely out of my element as I huff and whine. The others around me look so badass..

"Guys" Natasha says as she gestures to the thousands of Chitauri coming out of the portal.

"Call it, Cap"

"Alright, listen up. Until we can close that portal up there, we're gonna use containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or your turn it to ash."

"Wanna give me a lift?" Clint asks as he turns to Iron Man.

"Oh me too!" I say as I approach Barton and Iron Man.

"Since when did I become an Uber?" Stark asks as he picks Clint up and I hop on his back.

"Let's go Legolas" Stark says as he flies up.

I turn to Clint realizing I never actually introduced myself.

"I don't think we've met! I'm Amelia!" I shout over the wind as I hold my hand out. "I'm Clint!" He shouts back shaking my hand.

"This is really not the best time for introductions" Stark says as he drops of Clint. "Says you" I roll my eyes and glance over to see Hulk smashing a bunch of Chitauri....and buildings. Soon enough Stark drops me off on the tower and dips back town to the town to help the team.

I start to work back on the Portal trying to defuse it when I see a chip in the center of the machine. It was below a metal template and it had a red and grey color to it. I try ti reach into the machine and instantly get zapped back.

"Just as I thought" I sigh.

I think back and try different things as to what could possibly close the portal when I hear a grunt behind me followed by Natasha's smirk. She then turns down to my burn hand and back up to me with a 'really?' look spread across her face.

"You seriously tried to reach into the portal with your bare hand when even Tony's gear couldn't get past it?" Natasha sighs as he looks over to Dr. Selvig. He's crouched over—cradling his stomach as he glances around desperately. I sigh and stand up from my crouched position and walk over to Dr. Selvig.

"Wake-y, Wake-y, Doctor...

you have a real hard mess to fix.."
