The Girl that didn't Leave

A tall Vietnamese girl wandered around Cam and Maggie's cottagecore valley, taking in the gorgeous view. Patches of lemongrass swayed in the breeze, while a calico cat sunned itself on the vine-covered roof of a stone cottage. A small vineyard nearby released the mouthwatering aroma of sun-ripened grapes into the air as warm rays of sunlight bathed the valley in a gentle golden glow.

Plopping down in the shade of an apple tree, she inhaled the delicious scent of the air and blasted Sweater Weather on her earbuds.

Meanwhile, Cam and Maggie were fretting.

"Why isn't she leaving?" hissed Maggie with panic evident in her voice. "Everybody else left. Why her?"

Cam started to hyperventilate. "I don't want to socialize, I hate socializing," she wailed. "Why couldn't I have been born a natural extrovert?"

"Wait, why is she singing."

Cam whirled around in confusion. True enough, the young Asian woman was belting the bi anthem. Cam's lip trembled as she quivered with shock.

"SCREW IT AAAAH"

"OH SHE KNOWS WHAT I THINK ABOUT AND WHAT I THINK ABOUT ONE LOVE TWO MOUTHS ONE LOVE ONE HOUSE"

After a beautiful (albeit off-tone) rendition of Sweater Weather, Maggie nodded to Cam in approval of the new girl.

"HI FRIEND," yelled Cam.

"YOU CAN STAY," screamed Maggie.

"WHO THE FRICK FRACK PADDY WHACK BIG MAC KIT KAT ARE YOU" screeched the Vietnamese girl.
