"I'm back!" he says.

"Wait? Wha- but how?!" I say, shocked, backing away.

"Well since I've been following the rules and haven't done anything bad, they released me early!"

"Listen man, I don't wanna be rude but I don't think she wants to talk to you." Jaden states.

"That's not you to decide!" My dad yells and throws a punch.

"Jaden!" I help him off the ground and as Jaden throws a fist up I rub his shoulders and tell him to calm down. "It's ok baby just calm down." His muscles relax.

"Listen man, just leave before someone actually gets hurt." Jaden says, obviously furious at him.

"I'm taking my daughter to live with me. I have the papers and files."

"Hell there's no way I'm going to live with you!" I say as I back up and hug Jaden, now with a bloody nose. "Just leave, dad. You ruined everything when you decided to rape my best friend at the time. Just go." tears start to form in my eyes as Jaden holds me.

"Listen I can make it up to you I'll buy you whatever you want. Candy? Ice-cream? A car? Anything." He says, coming closer as I back away and start sobbing.

"Just go. I never wanna see you again!" and with that, I slammed the door shut. I just fall on the ground and start sobbing as I feel Jaden's strong arms hold me. "Why me? Why am I the one that has to suffer? Why did my dad have to go to jail why did my grandparents die why does my mom hate me why do I not have any friends why am I alone why am I depressed what's wrong with me Jaden?" I sob in his arms.

"No baby no nothing is wrong with you. You're just going through a lot. You're worth so much babygirl. Don't worry I got you." He holds me. I get out of his grip and start running to my room.

I get into my room and hear footsteps behind me so I lock my door. I go to my bathroom and grab my shaving razor and a pencil and pop the blade out. I put the metal up to my skin on my thigh as I felt a sharp pain with red blood dripping down. I make one cut for my dad, one for my mom, one for my grandma, one for my pawpaw, one for me being a fuckup, and one for failing Jaden. I fall on the ground sobbing. I hear the door unlock and open as he runs to me. I look up at him, blood on

"Baby... no. No no no!" He takes the blade from my hand and puts it in his pocket to throw it away later along with my razor. "Baby never do that..." He holds me and helps me get up, getting blood on his hands. He grabs a rag and starts to clean me up as I whimper in pain. I know he's crying and I can't even look at him I know I failed him. I failed myself. I failed everyone, but most importantly him. "Why did you do this?"

"I couldn't take it anymore. I failed everyone. I failed the boys I failed Jackson I failed myself I failed you..." I sob in his arms.

"No baby you can never fail me. Listen don't ever think you could fail me because you can't. I love you and nothing will ever change that. I will always love you. Now why did you do this?" He looks down at me, squeezing my petite shoulders scrunched up to him.

"I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm hurt and broken and I can't take it anymore. I miss my nana and pawpaw I miss having a happy life I miss being happy. I missed it when I was young and happy..."

"Baby I know but look at where you are now. You have to boys. You have Jackson. Baby you have me... I'm always here for you. I love you and I can't lose you. I care about you too much. I've lost one of my friends... I can't lose you too." He says, crying on my head.

"Wait you lost someone?" I look up at him, seeing him this broken just breaks me even more.

"My best friend. His name was Sam. I loved the dude. I lost him to suicide. And I can't let that happen to you baby. I need you. I love you. You have to stay here. Promise me you won't leave me. Please." I sniffle and look back down.

"I-I don't know Jaden. I won't make it past 27. I just know it."

"Don't think like that. Don't ever think like that. You will make it. Just keep fighting. I'll fight with you baby. I'll be here every step of the way. I promise. Just promise me you'll be with me."

"I promise... I'll never leave you." He holds me tight.

"Wanna sleep in here?" I nod my head and we lay down as I fall asleep on his chest.

I wake up to a sleeping Jaden and a stinging feeling in my thigh. I take the old toilet paper and put some new toilet paper on since I was still bleeding. I went downstairs and realized everyone was on the couch, looking like they haven't slept all night.

"Oh my god Bri thank god you're ok!!!" Josh runs and holds me and I lightly laugh and hug him back.

"What would make you think I wouldn't be ok?" I say, trying to hid the fact of what I did last night.

"We just thought you did something. Thank god you didn't I don't know what we would do without you. Please don't leave us. We need you." Josh looks me in the eyes and holds my hands.

"Don't worry I won't. I promise. I'll be here with you." Then I hear Jaden coming down the stairs holding up a notebook.

"What is this?" Jaden asks me holding up the notebook.
