"Y-you're my what?..." Jackson tries to wrap his head around it.

"Buddy, listen. I know you miss your dad but I'm your real dad. We have been keeping it a secret for a while now. Thinking it would make you happier. We thought that your mom and dad would last. But they didn't. We expected everything to be perfect for you and Alana. But it wasn't."

"Wait, I thought daddy was on vacation. I couldn't wait to meet him..." Alana says with tears in her eyes.

"Sweetie... we used to love each other. He did some things he should not have done. I didn't wanna upset you guys and say that. He did some really mean things to me. I'm sorry..." I sigh.

"Wait so daddy isn't coming back?..." Alana starts to cry.

"Most likely not. I'm sorry." I say, going over to hug her. She pushes me away.

"NO!! You lied to me! You said he was with you and that he was coming back. You said that he was here. You said he loves me. You said that he cares about me. You said he cares about you. You said he would be here one day. But he won't. You lied to me. You lied! I don't ever wanna see you again! I wish Josh was my father!" She starts sobbing.

"Babygirl listen. I tried to do it for the best of you and Jackson. I didn't wanna hurt you guys. I just wanted you to be happy..." I say, looking down as Alana is now next to Josh as he holds her, comforting her.

"I just want daddy..." she sobs in Josh's chest. "Especially on my birthday..." which is in two days. I feel horrible.

"Hey hey it's ok buddy. I promise you will get to meet him one day. It'll just be a while. I'm sure they'll make up and be friends again. Just give it some time. Either way you got Uncle Josh, Bryce, Anthony, Noah, and Griffin. You have us." Josh says, rubbing her back.

"I hope so..."

"Ok well kids we have to go. Tell Shawn and Brooklyn bye." Say as the kids say their goodbyes.

"When's the next time you wanna come over?" Josh asks.

"Um maybe in a week or two?"

"Ok." He responds.

"Ok well bye Josh!" I say.

"B-" Josh got interrupted by Anthony.

"Can I come with you?"

"Sure!" I say as he grabs a hoodie and sweats and phone and AirPods. I say bye again to josh and leave with Anthony. "So what's up?"

"I'm here to be with you. Y'know to make Jaden jealous?" He smirks, an evil smirk and evil look in his eyes. Revengeful.

"Right!" I say. I go on Instagram and see that Jaden followed me.
