- -Kiba's POV- -
"Set him up on the couch" she told me. I nodded and layed him down. His bright orange jacket had multiple cuts and holes on it. I removed it which left him only had a black shirt with his bright emerald necklace dangling from his neck.
"Damn, he really liked this jacket" I whispered towards myself. What happened to you Naruto?
"How's he doing?" I asked Hinata, wanting her to check once again as she came back with her first aid kit.
"He's fine, he is just tired Kiba" She told me, rubbing my shoulder trying to calm me down.
God I'm such a hypocrite. One second, I hate this guy with a burning passion, next minute I'm worried for him as if he was my younger brother.

- -Naruto's POV- -
I started to open my eyes and they began to adjusted to the radical change of light. Where Am I? I asked myself, trying to move but my entire body was in pain. "God I'm so weak".
Without realizing it, I said that out loud. I knew that, judging by the faces made by Kiba and Hinata as I turned my head towards them.
"Mhmmm" I tried to say something in response and again tried to sit up but my entire body hurt even more and my lips stayed shut.
"Hey hey take it easy" Kiba said, his voice drowned in worry.
I just groaned back and stood up against his wish.
"What happened Naruto?" Hinata asked me, a bit more controlled compared to Kiba.
Think of a lie think of a life think of a lie.
"I was training with my clones and uh, yeah" I said looking down at my bruised arms. They bandaged me up hm?
"Well, are you hungry? I can cook something up" Hinata said, her voice was very sweet and reassuring.
"I'm goo-" I tried to say
"Yeah that would be great" Kiba cut me off, answering for me.
Since when does he care? Wasn't he the one who always screamed at me?
"I can make some quick sandwiches, you guys don't have to do anything" She said with a slight blush and smile.

"Kiba..." I whispered to him, making sure Hinata didn't hear me.
"I know I know, I-" he sighed, gripping his own hands, "I'm sorry"
"Well this is a weird change of heart" I told him sarcastically.
"I don't know man, I guess seing someone you've strived to beat unconscious in your arms scratched to all hell-.....it does something" He finally said.
"Yeah I can respect" I said, remembering my first ever mission with Team 7 and the bridge. Time flies.

As Hinata came back, we ate her sandwiches and awkwardly started conversations but it was mostly Kiba and Hinata talking whilst I was sitting there, in my own world. Little did we know, it was morning already and we all haven't slept at all.

Thankfully, it was a free day.
