CHAPTER 6

SIENNA

I took a bite from my chocolate chip pancake. It was so amazing that I couldn't stop myself from moaning. "Best pancakes ever." If my aunt will hear me say it she would probably kill me but fuck that was the truth.

James smiled and shook his head like he still can't believe me. "When you eat it like that I want to take you here every morning."

"Eat it like what?" I asked while showing a little crumb that stuck to my lips with my thumb.

"Like those pancakes are the true source of happiness."

"Well, they are! Along with pasta, almonds, and strawberries."

James chuckled and dig into his own meal. Scrambled eggs with bacon, just like last time and the time before that. This was our third time having breakfast at this diner and it was amazing. The second time when we were too tired to cook, I wanted to come back here and I think that made it here our Diner. Calling something our felt good. Even though I was still not sure about the relationship between us.

It has been a month since our first date and since then we saw each other twice a week. I guess one time it was three. We had a very brief lunch that week.

First I thought it was all about sex because even our conversations felt like a road that is leading to sex. After the second week, we actually started acting like logical humans instead of horny teenagers. We still had sex a lot. Great sex too. But we also managed to talk. We always had breakfast together and we even had one date where we didn't have sex at all. It was the lunch date obviously.

I talked a lot about my job. James seemed like he didn't mind. He was interested in how I managed to get published and became a bestseller. I also talked to him about my second book which was getting together since we started dating. Tillie said that it was because my sexual frustration left my body. She might be right.

James finished my book in less than three weeks and gave me the silent treatment because I "ruined" his favorite character. That was the reason I wanted to take him to lunch. We made up pretty quickly and had sex the next day. I blew him as an apology and it was long forgotten after that.

James didn't like to talk about his job very much but he talked about the places he visited because of his job. I was very eager to hear more about it. He had many fun memories and I loved hearing them all.

There were still some topics we avoided. I talked about my mom and my aunt but never mentioned some horrible truths. I never talked about my father and James never asked. In return, I never asked about his parents. He never mentioned them. He talked a lot about his sister though. They were really close and even when they were busy they still manage to meet up. It was super cute.

I told him a lot about Tillie. I still hide some details like when he asked me how we meet I only said "Online." At least it was not a lie. James didn't seem very warm to her because of what she did the night we met with James. I believed that could change if he really knew her but since we mostly went to his penthouse I didn't have the chance to introduce them. I was not sure if James wanted to meet my friends either.

I was getting crazy thinking about our relationship. We had sex a lot but it didn't felt like just sex anymore. Other than the talking the moments we shared felt too romantic. I knew I had growing feelings inside of me for James. I liked him so very much. Even it felt like he liked me too I was not sure. It didn't even make sense to me that this guy wanted to have sex with me regularly let alone him liking me. When I spilled all of these feelings to Tillie she told me to get my head out of my ass.

James' voice dragged me out of my thoughts. "Shit, it's already 12 pm." He raised his eyes from his watch to me. "Did we sleep this much?"

I giggled. "I think sleep is not one to blame. It is you." If he didn't catch me on my way to shower and fucked me against a wall we would be here earlier.
