She could hear the twiggs broke from behind her, her feet were sore and bare but she kept on running. Running away from that person who was hunting her. She could feel her heartbeat wildly. She was running for her life, to save it. She was still very young and someone just snatched her while she was on her way to school. The school bus left without her, she was just a few minutes late. Instead of telling her mother about what happened, she chooses to walk rather than contact her mother, which in the end she has regretted. She saw him standing there as if just making a phone call to someone he knew while holding a cigarette in the other hand. He was gaunt-looking, old, and was wearing a big rounded eyeglass. He seemed harmless, but looks can be deceiving. While she continued to walk past him, the man came behind her grabbing her in surprise and covering her mouth so that she could not shout. An abduction in broad daylight. No one seemed to notice. No one seemed to care. All she could think about was her mother. At the farthest part of her brain, she knew this could be the end of her. She was just 11 years old. Too young to die. Too young to just disappear in the world without having the chance to experience her first true love kiss. Or hugging and being nice to her mother who has loved her since day one. She cried in silence while looking at her abductor in horror.

The old man covered her eyes with a folded hanky and knotted it behind her head. Another hanky also was knotted in her mouth to prevent her from shouting. Her hands were tied, so as her feet. And for her, the next route was the longest journey of her life. Her mother would later know that she didn't make it to school. But that would be six hours later from that moment. How many things might happen in the next six hours? Even if she wanted to shut down her mind, she continues to think about things she has seen on social media. Crimes that involve men kidnapping little children and raping and torturing them to their fullest desires without even single compassion. She never thought that this kind of thing would happen to her. Many people would say how beautiful she was with her green eyes and blond hair. That she could be a model when she grew up. That she could even be a child star. But her mother would not allow it. Her mother works twelve hours a day just to give her a good life she did not deserve because she gives her mother bitterness. She envied her classmates for having a Dad that supports them and gave them anything their little heart's desires. When she, all she could do was to watch and be envious. Cursing how her life was such a disappointment. Now she regretted all those things. All she ever wanted from that moment was to hug her mom and tell her how much she loved her.

"Ahh, the sweet sound of a child's cry.."The old man said.

"Please Sir, let me go home to my mommy.."She begged.

"Utter your goodbye to mommy little girl, you will never be seeing her again..."

And Jennifer cried even harder. She felt so scared. And kept on asking God for a miracle. She even asked him for forgiveness and even asked God to take care of her mommy when she leaves the world. She was beginning to accept her fate.

The car halted and Jennifer listened as the old man embarked and took something out from the car and when everything was settled, the old man held her in one arm and pulled her out of the car. She gave all her might to kick the old man even if her feet were tied. And the strength of this old man seemed not suited for an old man, for he was strong and his grip hurts her.

"Useless to fight now sweetheart!" The old man said and laughed in a sinister way.

Jennifer could feel the goosebumps. The old man looked so sinister that she thought she saw him with fangs and horns and red eyes bulging in his eye sockets. He was a monster. A monster that feeds little children. Jennifer shouted despite the cover in her mouth and the old man would just giggle, so thrilled with the little girl's willpower to escape. Jennifer kept on calling her mom but to no avail. She knew it was a futile idea and would just cost her her energy which she would be needing to plan her escape. No matter what happens, she would escape.
