All the Avengers are still alive, except for Petro. All of the demigods are also alive. This takes place after Gaea has been defeated.

I walked with Annabeth, our hands swinging together. I smiled just at the touch of her hand against mine, smiling and glad that we don't have to fight anymore.
"I say you should join," Annabeth has said to me, and I said nothing in return. "You could use your powers for good."
"Annabeth I have been using my powers for good. I have fought in multiple wars." I said to her, and she shrugged.
"You have been bored lately, and don't tell me you haven't been." She finished when I opened my mouth to tell her I haven't, even though secretly I have. I didn't reply to her, I just kept quiet for once. Should I join the Avengers or should I not? Annabeth says yes, and I haven't asked the other 7 yet.
"How about this," I said to Annabeth, trying to think of a compromise that she would be satisfied with. "I go to the Avengers and just figure out what I would do if I except. If I don't like it, then I won't do it. If I think it will be a good fit, then I'll do it. Deal?"
"Deal. But you have to actually try and see if you like it. You can't say no no matter what happens." Annabeth replied, and for the next hour is so, we just walked around in circles in the park, not really caring that our legs were tired. We just wanted to spend as much time with each other as possible, because according to the Avengers, Thanos is coming, and he is teaming up with all the monsters from Tartarus.
