"So, you're telling me that you have fought in multiple wars that we didn't even know about?" Natasha asked Percy, complete shock on her face. I felt the same way. Percy has been fighting since he was 12, and Nico even younger, 10. This is hurting my mind.

"Yes," was all Percy said. He was a little bit sadder after he was controlled by the eidolon. I would feel the same way if that happened to me.

"How does Shield not know anything about the 7?" Fury asked.

"Mist," Percy said, and when we all looked at him confused, he explained. "Mist is where mortals can't see something crazy. So if I pulled out my sword in front of a mortal, they might see it as a baseball bat."

"Then how come we can see what your sword actually looks like and is?" I asked him.

"Maybe because you've seen so much crazy stuff that you're mind can finally accept it. Or maybe you aren't fully mortal. Actually, there's a way to test that out," Percy pulled out a pen, and I laughed.

"What's that supposed to do?" I asked him, still smiling. The other Avengers were looking confused too, probably thinking about what Percy is about to do with the pen.

Percy clicked the pen and it became a long sword. My jaw popped open, and he smiled at me triumphantly. Once again, the other Avengers just stared, not doing anything.

Percy came towards me and asked me to hold out my dominant hand. I did as he said and he brought his sword right above my pinky finger.

"I am sorry for making fun of you. Please, please just don't cut off my hand." I begged Percy.

Percy said nothing, and the sword came down. I closed my eyes, dreading what I knew was about to happen. But the impact didn't come. I looked down at my hand, and it was perfectly fine.

"How is that possible?" I said, wondering out loud.

"You're mortal, so Riptide, my sword, can't hurt you," Percy told me.

"What if I wasn't fully mortal?" I asked Percy, dreading the answer.

"Then you would be missing a finger. But then we could easily put it back on, right Bruce?" Percy asked. I scowled at all the Avengers.

"He was about to cut off my finger and you did nothing?"

"He didn't hurt you," Natasha said, but she sounded worried.

"He could have," I retorted.

"But he didn't. End of discussion." Fury told us.

"My guess is that you guys are all 100 percent mortal, except for, you know, Thor and Loki. And Vision, since he's like a robot. We can double-check though," All the Avengers started protesting this idea of testing to see if we are mortal.

"Wanda," Nico said, and I turned towards him surprised because I forgot he was there. "How did you get your powers?"

"I was given them," was all Wanda told Nico. Nico glanced at Percy and somehow they communicated.

"Wanda, can I use my sword to try and cut your fingernail?" Percy asked Wanda slowly.

"Wait, you asked her for permission, but you didn't ask me?" I protested.

"Sure," Wanda replied, even though she didn't like it.

"Percy," Warned Vision. "Only try to cut off her fingernail. Nothing more." Percy nodded his head and less dramatically than he did to me, he cut off her fingernail on her pinky. Instead of what happened to me, the sword cut through the nail, and her nail fell to the ground.
