Nick Fury
We sat at the table, the letter from Perseus Jackson in my hands. The letter was plain and simple, but I handled it like it was the most dangerous thing ever. Shield has never gotten a lot of information about the boy, Perseus, or Percy. He lives with his mom and her husband, Paul Blofis. Every summer, he goes to a camp that doesn't exist. We have photos of him going to Rome and jumping off a building, but that's all we knew until Thor finally told us where to find him.
"Can we open it now, or is it a bomb?" Steve said to me, and I glared at him. I then opened it, and all the Avengers held our breath.
"It says that he will come here for a week, and if he thinks it's suitable he will accept," I said to the Avengers and they smiled.
"Thank God or gods. We need someone to fight this upcoming war." Natasha said, and Steve nodded in agreement.
"But would this boy even be enough? Look at this kid. He is so young." Steve said, and Vision nodded in agreement.
"Hey," Peter Parker said, offended. "This Percy dude is older than me!"
"I am not done. He said that if he accepts, he will ask all his friends to come and fight too. This also says that he will bring another very strong boy. He asks us to consider letting him join too." I said, and the Avengers pondered what I just said.
"But how many friends does he have?" Tony asked. "And how old are they?"
"In all, there are probably about 600 friends, and about 500 who are willing to fight. The average age is probably about 16." I respond, checking back at the letter to double-check what I am saying.
"How can we trust them?" Bruce asked, and Vision nodded in agreement.
"They might be working with Thanos." Vision said.
Then, some loud repetitive knocking came from the door, and we all reached for our weapons, except for Tony, who just smiled at us.
"That Percy dude is here. He's at the door with a boy who looks creepy." Tony said, and we all put our hands back into a more casual spot.
"Peter go and get it," Tony said, and Peter did as he said, with just a little grumbling. We heard the door open, and some talking. Then, we heard footsteps, and a boy with black and sea-green eyes walked in, along with a boy with black hair and a frown on his face.
Nico Di'Angelo
Percy made me come. I didn't have any choice in the matter. As I walked into the room full of the Avengers, I hated Percy even more. Earlier this morning, he had told me that I was the strongest demigod he knew, he then told me not to tell Annabeth, and he then told me how he signed me up for the Avengers. Without my permission. I had told Will, and he had been very happy, like always, on the matter. He even packed me a bag with all my favorite foods, etc. I then told him I would throw it away immediately, but we both knew we wouldn't. I then left. And had to come here.
"Percy Jackson." The guy with the eye patch said. Wow, he gave me pirate vibes. I then took a closer look at the other Avengers. The guy who let us in, about 16, a girl with auburn hair and red flame, or something like that coming out of her hand, a guy who looked like a robot, another girl with bright red hair and a black bodysuit, a guy with black hair, a guy who I could tell was from my time, a guy with a bow and arrow, another guy with glasses, and us. A very odd group.
"Yup. That's my name," Percy smiled, trying to break the awkward silence. "And this is Nico." I didn't move when he mentioned my name. I didn't even break my glare. The only thing moving was my eyes, studying one Avenger, and then going on to the other Avenger.
"I am Wanda," The girl with the odd flame said. I noticed that her voice had an accent that was flipping on and off.
"I am Vision," The robot said, and he held Wanda's shoulder reassuringly. The other Avengers told us their names, and Vision then stood up.
"I can show you to your rooms, Percy and Nico," The robot thing said to us, and I immediately didn't like it. It just wasn't human.
"Sure," Percy said, and the robot-Vision-led us through a door, up some stairs, since Percy didn't want to go up the elevator. We finally got to two rooms right next to each other, both looking very expensive. Mine was on the left, Percy's on the right.
"You can get comfortable. We will just be downstairs," Vision said and walked off.
"I'm going to go to bed now," Percy said to me and walked into his room, even though it was only 9 o'clock.
"I guess I'll go to bed too," I said to no one and walked into my room. My room had white wallpaper, which is disgusting, a medium-sized bed by the wall, a dresser, and a closet. I sighed loudly and sat down on the bed. I took out my bag from Will, and I took out my favorite food. Beignets. I ate it and licked my fingers, before tucking myself in bed, thinking over everything that may or may not happen tomorrow.
Natasha Romanoff
Our maybe Avengers are very, well, interesting. I am kind of scared of the dark, young kid. He didn't talk, he just glared at us, which is even scarier than someone leaping out to fight you. Percy seemed nice though. It was funny to watch Nick during the entire exchange between names. When Nico and Percy went back up, we just talked about what we thought.
"I can't see into their minds," Wanda said, and we all looked at her.
"So are they not alive?" Nick asked, going in for the logical.
"They are definitely alive. They just have walls to block me out," Wanda explained her thinking.
"How do they know how to fight you? And what's with that kid, Nico? Why is he so, you know, like very sad?" Bruce asked us.
"A 14-year-old black-haired sad-eyed emo boy?" I volunteered.
"Do we trust them?" Steve asked, and Nick sighed.
"We have no choice. We invited them in, and according to this letter, they are much stronger than us. And we will need them to fight Thanos." Fury said, and as if on cue, we heard some thunder from outside.
"Thor," Nick Fury explained, and we all loosened up a little bit. Steve than just stared at Peter, and Peter sighed.
"I guess I will go get the door," Peter said, and he walked sadly off to the door. A few seconds later, Thor came in, along with someone we hadn't seen in a while. The last time we saw him, he was trying to take over the world. Loki.
