Ding dong

" Who can be at the door this late night? "

When I went to open the door I took a flower vase in my hand for my protection and as soon as I opened it a familiar figure appeared in front of me.

" Uncle! " I shouted and hugged him tightly and he just chuckled.

" Thank god finally you are back. I really miss you and aunty. "

" Me too my child. " My uncle gave me a warm smile and I also returned it.

" Now are you going to stand there only or are you going to come inside too? " I said gesturing him to come inside.

" Yeah coming girl. " He answered me.

" Yeonjun ! See who's here. " I shouted from the living room only.

" Who's there? A ghost? Oh why would you let a ghost come inside our house, in fact you will only run away not caring about me cause you are such a coward. " He shouted back from his room only. Ughh this person is getting on my nerves.

"Now will you come here or I-"

" No no no I am coming I am coming. "
He said cutting off my sentence, and there I was just controlling my laugh.
He came down and his eyes got widened after seeing uncle.

He ran towards him like a 10 year old child and hugged him tightly like is going to leave him. I was just smiling watching this scene but something was missing. What? Yeah aunty, where is she?

"Uncle where is aunty? She's nowhere to be seen. " I asked uncle.

" Oh she is coming. Wait a minute. actually she saw a puppy on the road so she is playing with it. He was just outside our house. " He answered and which made my mouth shape an 'o'.

" Hi children I am here. " Aunty came inside the house and we ran to her and hugged her tightly.

" We missed you aunty. " Both of us said in unison.

" Oh I missed you too my sweeties. " She said hugging us back.

Morning scene

Today I woke up at 6 am. And I was not feeling well. My head was aching. But when I went to Yeonjun's room I saw something I never expected to see.

I saw him already awake and tying his collar tie. Wait a minute, did the sun rose from West today? Looking at my widened eyes he chuckled and asked " What happened ? "

I quickly went near him and touched his forehead and then neck and then held his hand.

" Do you have a fever? "

"What? No. Definitely not. I am perfectly fine. I do not have a fever. "

" Then how did you woke so early today. Wait a minute. " I went near the window and opened it and saw the sun.

"What are you doing noona? " He asked in frustration.

" The sun has also risen from east. How is it possible ? Why you woke up so earl-" before I complete my sentence someone ringed the bell.

" Go check who is it at the door. I don't know what is happening to you today. " He said and I went down to check who is at the door. When I opened it I saw Lia smiling at me.

Ohhh I remember, from today Mr. Kim Yeonjun and Ms. Kim Lia are going to go to school together.

" Good morning unnie. " She said still smiling.

" Oh good morning Lia. Come inside." I said smiling at her as softly as I can.

" Where is Yeonjun? Is he ready? " She asked me.

" Oh he- "

" I am here and yes I am ready. I just have to eat breakfast. " Someone cut me off and he was none other than Mr. Yeonjun coming down from the stairs folding his sleeves. I can tell that HE IS SHOWING OFF.

"Who's there Jennie? " Aunty asked coming out of her room rubbing her eyes.

" Oh aunty Lia is here. "

" Good morning aunty. " Lia greeted her with a small smile plastered on her face.

" Good morning child. " Aunty greeted her back and then her eyes suddenly fall on Yeonjun eating his breakfast peacefully. Her jaw fell down.

" Yeonjun. " She looked at him worriedly. She ran towards him and....touched his forehead, then neck and then lastly held his hand.

" Do you have a fever child. How did you wake up so early today? " She said and I just giggled watching his irritated face.

" What has got into you guys? Why are you asking me if I have fever or not? I'm fine. I don't have fever." He said in frustration and I caught Lia looking at him and just smiling. She noticed me and turned her gaze from him and started looking here and there.

" What happ-" Uncle said coming out of his room and stopping at his position after seeing Yeonjun awake.

" Yeonj- "

" I am totally fine uncle. I don't have any fever. I am perfectly fine. " He said not letting him complete his sentence. I, aunty and Lia started laughing.

" But then also, what got into you that you woke up so early?" Asked aunty.

" I'll tell you everything later uncle and aunty. Right now let him eat please. " I said and uncle - aunty just nodded their head. Today I directly went to my café.

As always today was also a tiring day. Apart from working in a café as a waitress I do one more job for our earning. I work in a call center.

It's my holidays from two days but from now they can call me anytime. So as I get into work I just forgot about my head ache. After work when I went home my head again started aching so I took some pills and went to sleep.
