As Marcus leaned in to kiss Ginny, they both heard a faint call, "Maxine! Your mom told me to watch you!" Georgia yelled. Ginny turned away from Marcus just as he was about to kiss her and whispered, "Wait, why is my mom here? I thought she hated you." "I have no idea..." Marcus said in a confused voice. Ginny tiptoed over to Maxine's closet and hid inside. As Georgia's footsteps grew louder, Ginny's heart was pounding. Georgia sat on Maxine's bed. "Hi, Georgia. You know, it's okay. Me and Marcus can be alone. You should join the search party to find Ginny!" Max said. "Oh, darling; it's really my pleasure. You're a good kid and I need to be distracted anyway." Georgia said. "Well, don't you, like, hate Marcus?" Max asked and Marcus walked by. Marcus stood his ground to see what Georgia would say. She paused right before she said, "Oh, there is no reason to hold a grudge." Georgia said while looking in Marcus's eyes and with her big scary smile. Marcus continued to walk away. "So, any gossip?" Georgia asked Max. "Excuse me...?" Max asked. "Oh, darling, I just need to be distracted for a little bit." Georgia said. "Um, okay. No, nothing. What about you?" Maxine asked. "Well, I'm crushing on this guy..." Georgia said. "Aren't you engaged..?"Max asked. "Well, yeah. A crush never hurt anyone, though." Georgia replied then chuckled. "Oh, okay. Who is it?" Max asked. "Oh, it's Joe." Georgia said. "Wait. What about Joe?!" Maxine questioned in shock. "You like him?! Aw, he totally likes you too!" Max yelled after she shrieked in excitement. "Oh, stop. He does not." Georgia said. "Yes, he does!" Max yelled. "Well, I think I'm gonna sleep with him." Georgia said. "Wait, what? You are engaged." Maxine said. "Yeah... I've cheated before, Paul doesn't really care." Georgia said. "Wow. That's goals, man!" Maxine said out loud. Georgia chuckled. Her phone rang and she said, "give me a minute, Max. I'm going to answer this, it could be my PI hired to find Ginny." Georgia said as she walked outside of the house and sat outside. Ginny stuck her head out of the closet and looked around, "Phew." She said. "Yeah..." Max said. "I have a question." Max asked. "Yeah?" Ginny asked. "Well, if you ran away to escape and not look back, why did you come back?" Maxine asked. "I missed you." Ginny said. "Aww! Well, you can't just say you missed only me, I saw you and Marcus looking at each other, there is obviously something there. It's not just a stupid hook up, you guys are in love. I'm so sorry, by the way. I should have just supported you." Max said then hugged Ginny. "Aw, it's okay... I'm sorry I kept it from you." Ginny said. They hugged for what felt like forever.
Georgia walked in.
"Virginia Miller, you little idiot."
